In todays video we head down to the exhaust shop and get true dual catback straight pipe with 6x18" tips on my 2021 Chevrolet Silverado Trail boss 6.2!!! This thing is loud!!!!
Sounds better than I expected. Thought it would be ridiculously loud, but doesn’t seem too bad. Deeper than a muffler delete, but not as loud as a full header system. Cab noise doesn’t seem bad, which is a good thing.
I traded in my 5.3 '19 sierra elevation ext cab to a 6.2 silverado ltz crew cab. I know i got the right truck. Friggin loving the 6.2. I was considering a corsa sport 304 catback but this video may have changed those plans. I got a custom exhaust guy here in sarnia canada. Im a dirty union millwright and any of the top respected millwrights all drive gm trucks. Its not a coincidence.
I bought some 6x18 inch tips for the 17 midnight edition and went with no muffler and a y pipe and it sounded just like yours did when I cold start it. I need to get some of your stickers for both corners of my back window. I'm a truck driver with a trucker life sticker in the middle so I was trying to find something for the corners and I think your stickers are the way I want to go, I'm from Mobile. Looks good!
I really want to do this on my 07 5.3 but I drive a lot and I don't want the cabin noise to be too loud. Right now I just have a cherry bomb. Great video love the truck!
Run 2.5" pipe from cats back to bed, then go to 3" pipe rest of way and bend to 90s behind tires. No tips just straight cut, will echo and sound like no other. Have it on my 02 silverado w/5.3 vortec
Those tips are sweet. Wish there was a decent exhaust set up I could put on my 99 Tacoma pre-runner mind you with a 2.7 in it. I mean there is but lotta cheaper things make it sound like A weed eater on steroids
Wasn't a fan of this body style at first, i have a white 2017 z71 LTZ. ever since you color matched it its making me want to upgrade lol, rip me. she looks really clean man
I just took my carven tr off my 2020 TB 6.2 it was a great sounding exhaust but droned too bad for me at highway speeds even with the pulsar LT and intake. Put on a Walker 22551 turbo muffler sounds great now with zero drone at all
