With all the modern technology of aerosol cans, barbasol, gillette, etc, my daily shaving experience has been a nightmare, especially courtesy of my triple bladed techno razors always clogging and pulling at my face (ever noticed they always need a new version, which is just as bad as the previous one?). Don't have the option to refrain from shaving (mandatory based on military service and my wife's preferences), so I really appreciate your videos. Hoping to finally make shaving a pleasurable experience, not to mention hone my sharpening skills for other tools and save money by not frequently buying expensive cartridge replacements. So many benefits to returning to simplicity...
I don't push the brush down or use much pressure when applying the lather. For me, this controls the suds from running down onto the handle. I also don't use a lot of water.
Wonderful video! Tips on lathering beneath the nose? Someday I want to see best way to lather beneath the nose and not have it go up the nostrils! (You obviously don't have to lather there in keeping your mustache.) Or perhaps you have an old demonstration video? Suggestions?
