Hi I got stranded deep on ps+ and was watching your videos. Very helpful. So I don't know if I am late for this but I think I may have found a way to transport sharks from island to island. I am doing some testing at the moment if you are interested I will share.
Great update! I played Stranded Deep a while ago, making piles seems so trivial , but in a survival game it's a major feature imo. Nevertheless, I always wondered why in SD there isn't a "ladder item" in the building menu, the animation of climbing ladders already exists and ladders would definitely make base building not just easier, but also more inventive. Agoork, maybe you could ask the devs if they thought about adding ladders in some of the next Experimental versions? Thanx for upload, cheers.
Yo, love your videos. Been watching since about the time stranded deep came out. If you’re ever in a moment where you’re deciding what kind of series to do next you should totally do a remake of your tips and tutorial videos. I’d love to see that with all the new updates and stuff. Cheers bro! 🤙
I’ve been playing on xbox for a few months but switched back to PC when I saw the crate and piles updates. The piles are handy and prevent the game from bogging down when it renders the hundreds of items you have scattered all over your base. The extra slots inside the crates coupled with the ability to craft your own is another game changer that is much appreciated.
Really hope they integrate the pile system into console version of the game. Would make things so easy, apposed to having scattered untidy loot all over the beach. Please ask the devs if this is due for console too 🙏🏼
coconuts and emply coconuts can be piled now, I started 3 days ago. Empty coconuts refill when placed in a pile, not sure if it's a bug or intended, but saved my life early game.
I can't wait to the piles to come to PS4. I've been using excess boxes to help with performance on my island as I've been collecting planks for my building project I'm working on.
How long does it usually take for these updates to make it to console? Also do piles work with Planks/Corrugated scraps? I can only stack like 5-6 of each on console before they start shaking and falling over.
No idea how long it will take for them to port it to console. Doesn't currently work with planks/corrugated, and I wouldn't think it would be necessary to add those items, but you never know.
I used to use spears thrown vertical into the sant to stack the sticks and logs. Use spears also to mark directions single spear, double spear.(North, other islands visited, home island) and that boar made a mess of my resources..i guess it cant do that anymore.
Looks like a cool update, my PC is having issues at the moment so i'm stuck with the ps4 version for the moment so prolly won't see this update myself for a while. Was wondering..... Can you place these piles on a raft? Also do you think this could help your speedrun times? Maybe if they did coconuts and spears it might, looking forward to seeing a new attempt :)
Playing the game now, very interesting game...im follow your guides, I feel like I'm just surviving not really moving forward I'm on day 25... I'm on the ps4 also trying to platinum it...also can you talk about tool belt? And Is it worth it?
No idea what "platinum it" means... The tool belt is useless on PC, but I believe it actually gives you additional inventory slots on console, which would be super helpful in my opinion. Put your main tools (axe, knife, pick axe, compass, etc) in the tool belt and leave your inventory for resources that you have to gather.
The piles look great, wondering if you can put piles on your raft, a pile of logs on a raft would be a massive game changer for me. also could use them to wedge a shak in the centre of the raft potentially.
No sorry, No idea how they even offered the game for free. There must have been some sort of "deal" agreed upon between Epic and Beam Team (devs of Stranded Deep). Maybe they got it for free but only in the 0.72 version.
I’m on my first playthrough and thanks to you i’m doing well on day 21 conquering islands and all of that,there are many things i don’t know about the game though and that kind of scares me to suddenly have that lack of knowledge be consequential,but i guess you only learn by playing more right? Couldn't quick craft certain items (like crude spears!!!) and couldn't craft a tool belt. I was hoping the tool belt had become actual inventory slots, but no such luck.
i have this on my PS4 my raft keeps getting deleted for some odd reason after coming back in from a saved game :( it sucks so much, hours spent , just for things to randomlly get deleted
Hmmm, I don't think they will ever add that feature. Doesn't really make sense how "loot" would just re-spawn in a survival world. If you have looted everything, just re-start a new game, or add some custom islands to your existing world (overwrite already looted islands).
