They are good. DP are my favourite too. First album I bought was In Rock, I was 15 in '69. Great days to be young.

@@repairer4182 Ну если быть точным, я скорее имел ввиду, что сама индустрия подстраивалась под таких вот самородков и разворачивала моду и даже идеологию под них, а сами они (истинные таланты) были гораздо менее ориентированы на прибыль, деньги и роскошную жизнь. Поэтому у них даже получалось пронести сквозь пелену коммерции свою самобытность и мировоззрение. А сейчас их подхватывают ещё на школьной скамье, вживляют культ сверх потребительства и главной целью жизни делают финансовое доминирование в области уровня потребления. Какая уж тут самобытность, какое мировоззрение. В мире, где все служат деньгам и принадлежат их хозяевам и сердцами и душами и мыслями. Надеюсь понятно объяснил.

Такова извечная мораль западного общества: всё, что можно продать - продаётся.

Раньше (в какой-то мере) действовала схема "от души создалось" - "продалось тем, кому по душе пришлось". А сейчас: "делаем вид, что от души, а на деле чисто рассчитываем выгоду" - "продаём потребителю". Не знаю как у Вас, но у меня искусство, предпосылкой создания которого является удовлетворение потребителя, вызывает отвращение. Разница примерно, как путешествовать своим ходом и в движении или путешествовать в отель, где "всё включено". И то, и то требует денег, при этом второе менее хлопотно и более предсказуемо и комфортно, но только от первого можно получить настоящие впечатления. И только первое можно назвать приключением, а не его суррогатом. Вот по этой аналогии некоторая музыка прошлого уносит в настоящее путешествие, а современная (даже хорошая) - отдаёт китайской пластмассой и "всё включено". О том, что музыка создавалась из чистого альтруизма бесплатно я как раз не говорил. Продавалось то, что получалось. А не получалась именно то, что можно максимально выгодно продать максимально широкому кругу потребителей.
