Strange Pikachu Things... debunk? 

pika main here - my favorite strange pika thing is really obscure, but actually a pretty big deal - if pikachu is on the higher port number, his forward throw won't have an electric effect; it'll just have normal hitlag. this causes him to lose a significant amount of frame advantage on it, making it almost useless. in certain matchups, pikachu has to make a choice between a functional fthrow on port 1 or taking 1 less frame of throw hitstun on port 4, a choice i don't believe anyone else has to make.

Hi kimchi here. Fun facts about Pikachu: Pikachu wavedash, normal landing animation, non l cancelled bair and jumpsquat all low profile many tall character's grabs for ranges of 2-18 frames. Pikachu's dashback puts him closer to his opponent because his tail extends outward and upward for up to 4 frames after dashing back. Pikachu's jumpsquat and wavedash tuck his tail hurtbox into his body mitigating the previous dashback problem.

This reminds me of Bowser's pivot grab in smash 4. Sure, it was large, but most of the ridiculous teleport grab clips are because of hurtbox shifting and other movements

I think one of my favorite things in the clips from tournaments is that whenever some bullshit jank, or disrespect happens you can almost always see both players laughing and smiling. Just having maximum fun. People get mad in other games when some glitch robs them. Its nice to just see people love a game so much, that even bullshit can't stop their fun.
