Messing around with the Strat figured I would record it with the go pro. Running into 2 Strymon iridiums set in stereo for amps. Guitar is an American Original 60's with Lambertones Triple Shot pickups.
@@lightfootfx can totally see/hear the inspiration! You took his tone, but made it your own. Those huge single lead notes sound like two guitars and create its own landscape. Very impressed. Well done! Besides the Edge, do you consider early Coldplay an influence as well? (A Rush of Blood To The Head & X&Y Era)

I only have experience with the lambertones triple shot, as far ad Strat pickups go I’ve only ever played fender Strat pickups and the lambertones sound better by far. For worship yes I think they would be great because you get a full driving bridge tone as well. I’ve played other porter pickups and they sound phenomenal as well, I would bet those vintage customs would sound great if you wanna go that route and save some money.
Thanks so much! To be honest I’m not doing anything to negate the 60 cycle hum. I have a volume pedal that I always pull off on whenever I stop playing. That could be it? It’s there when I’m playing but my playing comes out louder than the hum I would say.
Dude! Just got a Strat today for worship with Texas Special pickups in it. Would you recommend swapping out for the Triple Shot? Going to be adding the blondies to my tele for sure.
Honestly I haven’t used the Texas specials so I can’t say but from what I hear online they sound great! The triple shots give more of a tele bridge vibe in the bridge of the strat, being that you already have a tele you may not be missing out on much.
