ELK, BISON, ANTELOPE, and finally BEEF are my favorites, in this order. The first three are truly organic and grass fed,. oh and I love Chocolate too. Lucky me that I have friends who hunt and share, as I no longer hunt myself.
Love grass fed beef. I buy it from the local farmers when reasonable but usually the price is beyond my wallet. I wish I could buy more. I will check out the Strauss website. Thanks.
You are welcome Tess, I know, beef prices have gotten so expensive even for conventional. I love how good this brand tastes. I think their cattle are from Wisconsin. Not sure if its the grass they are eating over there but it has amazing flavor.
This is honestly some of the most tender and flavorful grass fed beef I have ever had. I did 2 recipes with it that will be up soon. I was so impressed by how good it tasted.
Have you considered adding macros to your recipes? maybe in the description? That would be super helpful for people who are keeping track of what they're eating!
You are welcome, I have quite few recipes coming up with it in the next couple of days. We just did a Ribeye recipe yesterday with Cauliflower mash and used the renderings from the pan we cooked the steak in to make a beef gravy for the cauliflower mash that was delicious. The taste and tenderness of this beef is like no other I have had before.
i wonder is Sprouts lies about grass finished..... i sure do hate when they add fat to it to add to the fat content...... thats some nasty fat their adding
But do they spray glyphosate (round up ) on the grass? Grass fed pasture raised is the best but I noticed it’s not organic so does it contain pesticides? Thanks
I got my first box about 2 weeks ago and no the ground beef is very good doesn't taste gamey and my second one will be here on the 20th of the month I love it it's very good
I counted 10 packages and 6 burgers. At $150. that would be 10 packages at $10. = $100. almost $10. a burger and 1 free. Nahhhh! Didn't look worth it to me.
DragonflyArtz1 It is to me. You're going to pay much more than that in money and i health oncw all the shit they pump into animals catches up with you. Don't eat a lot of pasta, breads & corn either or you will get sick.
This was around 10lbs if I remember correctly. The prime cuts of steak in the pack is what makes it pretty pricey, but I have been able to find grass fed ground beef locally for around $6 per pound at local supermarkets here in Florida.
Remember when hamburger was under $3.00/pound, then our stores went to all black angus beef and all the beef cuts went up. I'd say the mid 90's is when it happened.
Don't you know in US/Canada all beef is grown with antibiotics and hormones without eating grass? They are fooling you with marketing, Better to avoid eating beef to much.
@@justaddmusclecom Good for you. These companies just need to fed beef with grass few days before killing them, they are allowed to put biologic and grass fed beef labels. But in fact they use antibiotics and hormones and give them GMO grains and other horrible protein grains.
+Grandma Liz's Kisses I its a bit pricey, all beef has gotten so expensive, even regular conventional beef for a descent cut like a ribeye steak is $12-15 per lb here in Florida.
