The live drums really set this version apart from the rest. This arrangement is very high quality. I love the richness of the synth horns as well. I would love to hear a big band play this song with a full horn section.
I have came to a conclusion that... sfa2gold has the best soundtrack out of all the alpha series. sounds the same as alpha 1 but more funky/jazzy i love it!

I like it, but I wouldn't say that. I would say it more matches the younger Ken in the Alpha series, when he's still starting out, and the more intense rock theme in SF2 and onwards matches the intensity of a battle-tested veteran.

one of the best fighting themes kickass backround. i was always glad to fight ken cause of this theme and stage. its a cool situation. me vs ken on a big yacht traveling by the city at night. hecht i would settle for just being one of those guys watching in the backround must have been one bad as night.
@Grafiction I would not say gay more less the original fit Ken while this theme fit the stage since this theme has more a party sound, the stage take places on a yatch and its Eliza birthday. i would not try to compared the two both songs are good.
I played this simultaneously with Rogue's Theme from X-men vs street fighter since I thought they had similar traits, and It sounded good actually IMO lol
I don't know I saw it somewhere on a official site. Probably becuz Ken is arrogant and free-spirited, and Guile is so serious and cold-blooded. That's family for ya!!! lol
@Grafiction You know that scene in Rocky 3 where Mick tells Rocky that his problem is that he's "gotten civilized"? That's what's up with this song. I like the song, it's a good song, it emphasizes the young classy ken, the rich ken that hadn't yet embraced his fighting potential... a rich, spoiled kid. Fortunately, by the time SF2 rolled around he had given up the lavish parties and was fighting at a dock, still the flashy ken but much more mature and dangerous as a fighter.
@jungle10ful He had to inherit some company in the storyline, also 1 of the reason why he couldn't fully study martial arts along with Ryu and got seperated

Hmm, this one's good, but I like the Warriors' Dreams arcade version more. I also rearranged this theme, as well as others from Alpha 2 with Mega Man X2 and Super Street Fighter II (SNES) samples, since the original SNES port wasn't as high in quality. I know Persona 5 has a good soundtrack and all but.. just don't. P5 is great but don't bother comparing it to classic jams like this.. or rather other soundtracks to be honest. It doesn't sit above or below anyone else, rather it's in a league of good soundtracks with the MANY other games that deserve to be there. Squandering the name of other games for the sake of P5 is dumb.
