@@themememaster7844 None of these three themes are based on one another, but the sf2 theme and alpha 3 theme are composed by the same musician (Isao Abe).
Man, words cannot describe how far I push myself when I'm working out thanks to this song. I feel like Sagat's spirit is controlling my body to go beyond my limits and perfect my body. This theme is very inspiring.
Yeah, me too, this song is definitely something else working out, its like the perfect song for it, like you said its like Sagat spirit is controlling my body and making a tiger out of me
This theme shows the unhinged dedication of this fighter, with how uneven the beat is. The fact he grins as he holds you by the face in one of his grabs, how two of his three winning animations is him laughing at his opponent... Alpha 3 Sagat has got to be a very terrifying guy to try and survive a fight with.
I still can't get over the thought of having a seven-foot Muy Thai master with an eyepatch and a huge scar across his chest, just towering over me while this song is playing
And I thought Jefferson sum the song up well. You went beyond that. Your comments about Sagat and your future is so well-crafted that it can make Michelangelo envious. The composer who created this music hit the nail dead on by reflecting it to Sagat's intense determination to redeem himself from that infamous defeat in the hands of Ryu. This is the main reason why this track stood out as one of, if not the best SF music of all time. Just simply memorable.
Man, so many good OSTs in SF Alpha 3. I think this game and SF III have the two best soundtracks in the whole SF chronology, I think SF III probably just pips SF Alpha 3 by a little bit in my opinion because of all the drum and bass tunes in it.
I prefer the SF4 soundtrack. In my opinion it has both the best and worst (here's looking at you, DeeJay) themes in the series. But Alpha 3 is a close second.
yeah, well, to me it's not bad, but it has too much electronic stuff for my tastes. i liked the SFIV and 3rd Strike soundtracks better, but mostly IV because it remixed the characters' classic themes, some with an ethnic flair i enjoyed (like the Flamenco guitar and castanets in Vega's theme, or the whole Bollywood flavor of Dhalsim's theme).
yeah , me too, tiger blow had an arc and multiple hits, it was the perfect AA and combo finisher, tiger uppercut while a little bit stronger , its too vertical and one hit only? meeeeh, BRING BACK SFA SAGAT!!!
This theme is the reason why I practice martial arts and into bodybuilding... sagat is a definition of a "warrior" that scar is a reminder of defeat (Ryu) the raging heart of a tiger never give up 💪
I appreciate this song a lot, because with all the legacy characters having solid original themes, his feels like it's also in the spirit of his SF 2 ones, while still remaining its own anthem. Excellent work here.
