Another dish off the list for my Ghanaian Street Food tour, Fufu and peanut soup. This was an exciting dish for me to eat, as it was the first time eating soup with my hands, it's tricky to get used to eating this way, but it connected me a bit more to the food culture here in Ghana. I've now noticed that meats here are a lot more gamey than what we are used to back in Jamaica, which makes me appreciate the differences in cuisine.

We even have some foods in Ghana that immediately when you are feeling sick or sick. Also the chop bars are usually in an open airy settings and not enclosed as western restaurants where you are enclosed in will not much fresh air circulation.

It called barimah kwan (soup made a male) when I lived in Ghana. It was to have a male owned chop bar in 90s. Tons of us will travel from Accra every saturday to go and eat there and bring back several pots soup back. It was ritual. I remember we will take shots of alcohol to enhance our appetite before we ate.

You fit into the Ghanaian culture to naturally...Fufu is delicious...I really like the way Ghanaians combined those two ingredients to make fufu...the peanut soup is also nice with a touch of that ginger...people need some strong teeth to eat goat meat in Ghana...before you leave Ghana you need to swallow the fufu and not chew it😃

There's one in Called Asanka. Fufu is eaten with Soups. Those are soups but they look stew because of the ingredients. Bro I see how you loving this meal. The extra ginger also makes the soup more flavoured especially with certain kind of meats like goat meat. Fufu and goat light soup with goat meat is also banging.

Even the taste is different between the so-called modernised restaurant and the chop bar or 'bush canteen'. Haha😄

More power to you with using your hands. I used a spoon because I couldn't manage using hands. My goat nearly shame me because it never so soft. It almost fly weh. But the flavor was awesome
