Nice teaching our brother the scissors style for the fufu. We told him in a different video comment to try. And he did very well. I am impressed. And his partner was right about the fish she tasted, it was smoked mackerel.

Oooh thank goodness! U finally got a real guide that us interested in how u are supposed to eat the fufu! I knew that if u met him, he would take the trouble to teach u,,to be able to enjoy the foods, the way the natives do. No stretch of the fufu, just a quick blunt scissor cut, from the bottom of the fufu, never the top, it makes it a bit gross, when stretching from the top..I know, u are coming back, by then, u would get a perfect handle on it! I'm also glad u found out your Ghana name...my dad was Kwabena too. With your hunger for knowledge, abundant sense of curiousity, I appreciate u a lot!
This is awesome. I love Wode our" favorite village boy" and his honey Miss Trudy. Wode has inspired me as a Jamaican born to travel Africa. Thanks to him I have traveled to 3 African countries. Cant wait to explore more.

I know Wode Maya will be your best teacher over there.. see how u cut the fufu? I knew u wouldnt finish the food because it wasnt your favourite..peanut sooouuup!! I wish someone taught u all the many things that comes from the palm tree! By the way, I dint think u have the exact palm tree that we have, in Jamaica. I asked my Jamaican neighbour and friend who eats my Ghanauan foods, and she told me, no. I think that's why u guys dint have the palm tree products. Palm oil, palm nut soup, palm kernel oil, palm wine etc..on and on! 2 different oils come of that one tree. What a wonderful gift from mother Nature..that one single tree. I wish someone shows u the kernels that produce the red oil and the kernel oil, then the palm nut soup.

I know that traditionally we eat fufu and soup with our hand.. *HOWEVER,* you can always use a spoon...some people may not agree, but I believe feeling/being comfortable also adds to the experience 👊🏾👊🏾🙂🙂

This was fun to watch! Swallowing and chewing gives you a different taste and that’s why non Ghanaians/Nigerians can’t have the same feel or satisfaction until they learn the act of swallow.

Another protip With the scissors method wode maya showed you, you slightly press the middle with your thumb, so there's a hole in the fufu so it can fetch more soup. Then you pass the fufu with the soup to the pinky and ring finger and middle finger with the thumb supporting it then swallow quickly
