Not everyone is suitable for cochlea implants or other forms of hearing restoration. However, a person who has had hearing restored or replaced with hearing devices could be excellent teachers for both the deaf and the hearing - like teaching BSL both is schools for deaf and hearing children, making those who don't have this problem aware of how they can be more helpful to others. An older man who was profoundly deaf was given a cochlea implant in one ear. He cried with joy because for the first time he could hear his children's voices as well as that of his grandchildren - the youngest only at babbling age. He'd never had that experience before. This is what having a hearing resorted gives a person. Embrace it, don't fight it!

Rose, deaf people have the right to want to be "fixed". If they want to be able to hear again, they have the right to make that choice. If you do not want to receive that "treatment", that is your right. I am hard of hearing. If modern medicine could restore my hearing to what it was before, I would avail myself of that option. If I should become totally deaf, it would be my right to wish to have my hearing restored. You use a hearing aid sometimes. Isn't that a "fix?" Would you tell a blind person not to receive surgery that would restore their sight? That is their choice to make. Surely, you must know that not every deaf person feels the way you do, although I am certain many do. Everyone has the right to choose how they want to live, as long as they don't hurt anyone else.

I will say it again. I would love for Rose 🌹 to play the female lead in “Children of a Lesser God,” the story of the love ❤️ between a deaf 🧏‍♀️ woman and a hearing man 👨. It could be televised simultaneously in the United Kingdom 🇬🇧 and the United States 🇺🇸. It would send a message on behalf of all deaf people.

I hope this instegram comment is real and not just a pr stunt to apease fans Rose carry on as you are you are strong but yuo must of expected new ways of treating deaf people as tou said you may have been born to early to reap the rewards every one is with you

There wasn’t even a comment! He just liked it. Every time rose posts on IG he has to like it. He’s only doing it for the publicity how many story’s was there over this like LOADS and they made it out that it was his show of support over a bloody like LOL! He needs to leave her alone and get on with his life with molly. Mollys latest IG post was of her and he wrote what a view! And she was wrote back it’s the only view you like. So I suggest he gets on with liking that view. No wonder rose doesn’t post on IG anymore really because every time she does it about HIM. This was her post and how she felt nothing to do with him. I guess he’s not getting the media attention he craves with molly and there holiday to Dubai needs to latch back on to rose to get him self back in the media

@@stevehutchins3429 It really annoyed me. Rose hadn’t liked one post from Gio in 6 months. She’s letting him get on with his life no likes no media coverage if that any sense He just can’t leave it alone. He’s got a girlfriend move on. Mollys mum and molly seem to be quite taken with Gios family with the comments they leave on his sisters and his mums IG post. Gio removed all pretty blond girls from his IG 2 days go it seems very serious he needs to leave it
