I love firebirds I bought new1988 on 8-8-88, I miss that car so great that you are saving these beauties. I'm currently working on my 1986 Cadillac coupe DeVille my father in law bought new June of 86.

The Turbo hood and air cleaner on that Z28 are precious ! Grab them. Worth more than the car. The will fit the 91 and make it look so much better.

I just got my 91' started after it sat for a little over 5 years. I also began the transformation in making it into my 5th Knight Rider replica.

This video hits home. I'm restoring my '88 Firebird with my dad overseas in germany and it has the exact same interior as the first '86 you stripped in this video. Sucks to see 2 birds die but sometimes you have to let some die to save a couple more. Its how this just goes. Hope the other hot rods in the yard get saved like that 57 Plymouth you see in the back sometimes.

My son's lifelong best friend is rebuilding a 86 Firebird Convertible that was his high school car, he's been looking for interior because being a convertible and being out here in the Southwest U.S.it's pretty much toast, and alot of the body panels are beat to shit because... well teenagers high school car, last week I found a hard top 86 firebird about an hour from us for sale for $2000 and sent him the link and told him I'd go halves on it with him because I'm building a 64 Pontiac Tempest 4 door and I wanted the drive train and suspension and wheels and he could have the rest, a $1000 split is CHEAP for all the parts we both need and want to rebuild 2 classics and keep them both on the road.

New to your channel. There is not a lot of good 3rd Gen material of youtube. Keep those videos coming!!! I have (2)1987s GTA convertibles and (1) 1991 Formula T-Top. All 5-Speeds. Friendly advice though, I wouldn't be confessing on video that you're missing work to do car stuff. This may not go well with your internet customers.🤫🤫🤫

Did this ever bring back memories, I owned a 85 Firebird with the 2.8 Multi Port it was identical, the color interior. It was a nice car until it got totaled. It was fun at the time and remarkably quick for a V6. A blast from the past, thank's for sharing. Looking forward to future video's. Cheers

As a 1991 Red Firebird owner this was kinda hard to watch. But if it's for saving others that's understandable. Thanks for saving as much as you could. Sucks it was crushed but the more that get crushed it makes our cars more rare and hard to find. (Increase our cars values.) So there's always a positive in everything.

also agree on that blue it will look sharp i have a red 93 trans am with the t56 lt1 with full bolt on's and a cam fun cars for sure hope you can pick those cars up before the freeze hit im in bc and its starting to get cold i imagine ab is getting close

If you do paint jobs , I have a 87 gta I need to have painted over the winter if you’re interested. I am in central Alberta. Not a bad car in decent shape, should be fairly straightforward job .

There was 2.3 million 3rd gens produced and only 800,000 where firebirds. That's nearly 2 to 1 in favor of Camaro.

For some reason I really enjoy these driving sequences, especially in the evening. Could even do without them being accelerated in the video :). Regarding your other procjects outside, do you put covers over these normally? I could imagine the weather being quite harsh to those gems, especially since you live quite north I believe.

I’m not a fan of the U pull it’s here in the states. They won’t negotiate on anything, they have a core charge for everything, and charge you for everything possible. They’d rather take scrap price of pennies over a few bucks… I only have a few old school yards by me left but it’s slim pickings. You won’t find f bodies or mustangs.
