Brilliant, after 2.5 years of podcast editing, I love this tool so much. Now I just need to find the "squasher" tool to compact the whole production down - I'm hunting!!!
hi ya Kerry - I may even make a video about this soon...basically, in the effects rack, click the arrow, drop down to amplitude and compression, > dynamics > tick JUST the middle box compressor. That should do the trick for you. Try a threshold of -20 and a ratio of about 3 or 4. Should squish it nicely for you D

A few questions remain. would be nice if you will answer these (i'm new with this tool / program) 1) what window is open on the left (3rd / below - left corner) ? 2) i scanned a complete silence of -∞ dB What should i enter in the 2nd diagnostics window 3) how can you check more tracks at the same time for silence 4) is their a batchopportunity to clean all silences in more tracks if 3 and / or 4 are not possible are there other tools for it ?
