“Well from what I’m seeing here you can write better than you can speak, so how about that!” This is one of those insults you don’t register until you’re lying in bed later that night
@@JonatasAdoM eh, the scissors were worse, IMO. I was blessed enough to be one of seven (out of twenty) kids in my junior school years who are left handed, so any craft was choosing between waiting until it's finally your turn to use the one left handed pair in the whole classroom, or use the right handed one which causes pain - and as an aside, who thought it was a good idea to have those kinds of scissors in a class setting? There were scissors without orientation available, the ones I had at home were. Sorry, sore point.
@@tunderstorm2769 CompSci. My sisters all did English. Though my second sister likes to insist that she studied _language_ because she took a couple years of Spanish.
Try an Ethics degree...i have one...it literally doesnt even register for job recruiters. Thankfully im indebted up to my Spectral Asshole from my Masters in Nursing, Bachelors in Psychology, and Associates in Electrical Engineering...and in a few years, i will complete my dual doctorate program for virology and pathology... Help me...i dont know how to stop...
@@marpj6138 really? Wow I missed that, it's been a long time since I played, think 02 03 was the last time I considered even trying to get a season together....
I made a college professor character at one point with that feat... As funny as the character was, we all agreed that the feat was too slow (even though it would basically "auto-work" if I were a few levels higher).
@@Thomas-fz9xw you get like 90% success after level 8 or something, it's absurd but it takes so much more time unless you've practiced a lot of quick math and such which I guess fair point but that's a weird way to balance it.
Three things that I love in one episode. Door Monster and their sketches, The Prof himself from Tolarian, and Magic the gathering. Did not expect to see this, but hey love the comedy of you guys keep up the good work.
Academia: You don't make as much money as athletics, and you don't have the unlimited growth potential as racial-gender studies. So you are very close to one.
I think the reason the average joe can't understand them is because their answer to anything is always more math. No matter how deeply we understand the workings of our universe, they just keep making more math.
@@kairon156 And even if you do know, how are you going to fill all the pre requisites? "Want history? Good luck passing the physics, chemistry, mathematics, geometry and the foreign language admission test!"
In Texas, that could just mean he is a fan of the football team. I went to a college in Texas where many of the alumni thought the athletics marketing department was doing a bad job because only alumni wanted to watch our team.
Lmao I started watching Tolarian this week and was confused when suddenly Ricky. I'd love to see a follow-up with different schools and cliques being portrayed by different staff some day- even if everyone is green-screened in.
As a person who is left-handed, I am baffled by the choice to put the smudge marks over his thumb. Speaking from experience I have no idea how the ink could possibly get on that side of your hand.
I recently re watched the hl2 sketches and realized you didnt so one about the garden gnome... please so one where freeman tries to explain why he carries it
This is oddly like my experience transfering from a community college to a university. I completed everything to be automatically accepted into the university, but then they picked apart my courses and insulted my college. It took two years of college to embrace "higher education", and 3 minutes with a transfer consultant to suck it all out.
@@nikkibrowning4546 Did you check beforehand if they count those credits? Some schools don't accept certain classes as replacements for others. When transfered it was pretty smooth, though I lost one or two classes.
Can someone explain the joke? Is it just an odd way of putting it (instead of Magic sets)? Or is it that some of the professor's most popular content is when he reviews deck boxes.
2:12 Wait, what does Tim have to do with this? Admittedly, he is a magical creature, but I’m thinking from a different multiverse, compared to this one
Professor, with all due respect, you should be the *last* person who judges people based on how they pronounce Magic names, Mr. "English Professor not Linguistics Professor"
I *just* realized it's a *Haste* call instead of a *Zoom* call. Because Magic. Lots of other easter eggs in the Haste call screen as well. Who made it, y'all or the Prof?
