Hey guys! Brad from SimpleGuitar.com with a lesson to help you develop your timing when strumming on guitar so that your rhythm playing will sound awesome. A lot of guitar players get stuck with developing their timing, but this simple exercise of alternating rhythms will help you develop your timing quickly.
Rather than just playing the same rhythm endlessly, we're going to start by playing a measure of quarter notes and then seamlessly switch to playing a measure of eighth notes and keep going back and forth.
By focusing on this switch, you'll start developing your internal timing and sense of rhythm so that you're no longer feeling stuck with your strumming.
