8. SOUNDBITE:(English) Adam Kress, Virginia Tech student:
"I definitely think at some point it should have been aired; I am not sure if right now was probably the best time, with a lot of people still, you know, in the grieving stage, to put everything together. It is very intense, I am sure you have seen the video, it's very raw. I am not really sure if it is good or bad right now."

STORYLINE:
Students attending Virginia Tech reacted on Wednesday night to a video released by US broadcaster NBC, which was sent to them by Cho Seung-Hi.
Inside the package, which arrived on Wednesday morning at the broadcaster's New York headquarters, was what NBC anchor Brian Williams described as a multi-media manifesto - with video, pictures and writings from the gunman.
Cho mailed it at 9:01 a.m. on Monday, between the two sets of shootings at Virginia Tech.
It was a chilling document from a man who said little in life but clearly wanted people to know his grievances in death.
Virginia Tech students gathered at the Buffalo Wild Wings Bar in Blacksburg, less than a mile from campus, to watch the NBC newscast.
One student, Jonathan Brown, told Associated Press Television: "I think it is really sick that he would do something like that; it gives us a better idea on what he was doing on those two hours and his motives and everything. "
"But the fact that he put so much thought into it is really disturbing," Brown added.
Others questioned the timing of the release of the video.
"I definitely think at some point it should have been aired; I am not sure if right now was probably the best time, with a lot of people still .... in the grieving stage," said Adam Kress, another student.
"It is really tense, I am sure you have seen the video, it's very raw. I am not really sure if it is good or bad right now," he added.

Its interesting how they give their reactions like there an old pal of his but no one gave a crap about him nor did they see him as an equal to them. Cho is just another example of societal loneliness.

I don't think he's an example of that, perhaps on some level, but it isn't loneliness that inspires people to commit incidences of mass murder, that , to be frank is a drastic oversimplification of someone like Cho's psychology, also its pertinent to state that just because someone feels like a social outcast doesn't mean that that's reality, Dylan Klebold felt like a social outcast, but was well socialised and had a tight nit group of friends. Revenge can be a factor behind school shootings, but its revenge to perceived slights, not things that actually even took place, necessarily. You have to remember these are very ill people we are talking about.
