Hiya, I just wanted to mention that you can use Cellulose bags - they are clear and are compostable. Tests have shown that, when buried or composted, uncoated cellulose film typically breaks down in an average of 28 to 60 days. Coated cellulose breakdown ranges from 80 to 120 days. You can also get Biodegradable chunky and fine glitter too not that I have ever seen you using glitter but if anyone else is reading this it might be helpful.

*Pro tip:* This was taught to me buy a friend who runs a sign business and uses A LOT of vinyl. When applying to a non porous surface, such as glass, or in your case Catherine, your desk, it is best to spray down the surface with some soapy water (Dish washing liquid is the best and you don't need to put a lot). Once sprayed, you place the vinyl sticker (works for all vinyls stickers no matter the size) and "slide" it to the desired position. If you make a mistake and need to pull it off, it's easily done provided the surface is still wet. Once placed, you just need to squeeze out the air bubbles and soapy water using either a squeegee.. or even a plastic credit card. The soapy water doesn't affect the "stickiness" of your vinyl sticker whatsoever once it has dried. :)

Please don't stop your studio vlogs! I just discovered you a week ago and I've been binge watching in the mornings before I head to my 7-7pm job. You and I are SO much alike in personality and age and in how we grew up, the things we like and draw, and even our artistic journeys (especially in college) have been so similar it's eerie. I know we'd be inseparable friends in real life - so watching your videos has for the first time in MANY years moved my rickety old artistic soul to start to come back to life. I realized, when was the last time I drew anything?! I haven't even drawn in years and I realized, my job has killed my passion. You kept my passion, you made that passion work for you and that is so inspiring. Thank you for posting all that you have, I couldn't say that enough. Thank you thank you! Fluffs is gorgeous and your illustrations of what you ate and drank in Costa are amazing. Hobbycraft is a great shop both in store and online. Some of the last things I brought from there were Shrinkles sets and decoupage supplies. I also like to use headphones when I edit my videos and have Spotify on in the background.
Eco Craft sell a lot of compostable clear sleeves made from natural materials 💚 Other helpful things like recycled paper tissue paper and paper tape too!
For the vinyl I always tape it down first so it doesn’t slide or end up crooked; using a squeegee, or something similar, is best for preventing bubbles during install and installing it wet allows you to push out bubbles easier or reposition it. Also I love watching your videos while I work/draw. Super inspiring!

I love long vlogs and I LOVE seeing art shops! The new cutter looks so good! I was planning on getting one for my birthday too, as I want to start sewing my own sketchbooks and I want to use 100+gsm. I eyed an A4 one, reviews say it cuts easily through 100 80gsm sheets of paper so that would be good to clean cut the sketchbooks! I love the new packaging! It looks really neat and I appreciate the effort of being more environment friendly and the fact that you didn't get plain paper bags! Also kudos for being so positive about the vinyl incident, had it been me, I would have started crying in frustration and ruined all the roll, trying to put it down perfectly. Hahaha

Fluffy is so cute! 🖤 I also love that your trying to make more sustainable business choices! Cellophane is derived from natural sources such as wood, while plastic wrap is made from oil. Unlike plastic, cellophane can't be recycled, but it is biodegradable, so it can be composted. Just so you know as long as you make sure its cellophane and not plastic bags! 🖤🖤🖤 can't wait for the next one!

As i have said before i have silhouette and a cricut and cricut is better made but software is so limited so its nice with silhouette you can do different cut settings by layers you can assign a line color for different settings and so it does make it easier. I wish cricut would do a layers thing or line color to do different depths but they seem to be so slow to make improvements so i do not see that on the horizons. Love your vlogs and of course love your personality. Your channel is my fav
You could start bullet journaling :) A lot of people do a scrapbook style to decorate their pages. Some of my favorites are hellorachelthefirst and cheyenne barton. I mostly paint in mine but want to try a more scrapbook-y style soon. If I do I'll have to buy some of your cute stickers!

NEED the coffee mug and phrases and actually the whole journal page as stickers. 😊 You should start a subscription box. Monthly theme that comes with basics like headers, days of the week or any other stuff you come up with, a few sheets of stickers, coordinating washi (some designs, some just colored), and maybe a pin! Can add additional items for extra moola. I'd subsribe!! Then your patrons can help come up with ideas.
HOBBYCRAFT is my Adult Toys 'R Us - they opened one next to pets at home near Bath last year and it was like christmas come early - although i was a bit devastated they stopped stocking my Niffler and House Elf Yarns, literally the two staple products i went there for. I always end up forgetting what i go in for :P I've been using eco-craft for bags and card, but the bags you found are such a good idea! Lovely to see you going more eco, it's definitely something i put at the heart of my business and i know people respond really well to it too - not to mention marine life! Something I've started doing for my desk is getting different vinyl or contact paper designs and put them on very thin poster board(s). Then you can switch out your background without messing too much with the actual desk ^_^

you should totally get fluffy a cat water fountain, you can find them for cheap on amazon and cats like them a lot more than water bowls! they love running filtered water
The paints you where looking at are for kids. I think they're scented for kids like my neice (2yrs) who likes to paint her hands and feet during her messy play class! Btw the hobby craft paint is a little translucent best to mix with gesso or something.

Ive got the same guillotine that you just got. It works ok, however on mine there is a screw on the base that comes loose continuously and if I am not careful the blade hits it. So Id keep an eye out for that just in case! :)Also, HI FLUFFY!

Can you print on the new paper bags? If so then for the sticker bags you could print the text you have on the backing card on the bag? Only the text and not the color form the backingcard. Or maybe a sticker from the text and use to seal the bags when you fold them closed that way it could be easier to see what stickers are inside if you have some with simmilar colours? Just a thought. I want to learn how to make stickers and cards but not from my drawings because they are crap but I love photography and would be awesome to make cards and stickers and so on with my photos and sell.
note for everyone: you gotta take off the sticker before you put the glassine into the recycling bin or compost bin because the sticker is not recyclable or compostable and it messes with the process! hope someone sees this even though i'm like commenting a year after this video came out lol
