@Highonlifealways Hi, it is the best information vlog about accomodation for students in Vancouver... Thumbs up for your effort. Still to get one answer.. Should we book the accomodation from India thru the mentioned sites ? If not than how to manage accomodation when drop-in at Vancouver? Any student hostel etc are available near UCW downtown or slightly far as per areas mentioned by you ? I hv seen you responds even today on the comments inquiry on this 8months old vlog !! This is great. Response is awaited. Thank you. Hv a wonderful time.
It is preferred to book the accommodation from India itself and talk to people or your peers from same batch online. Here are some online Hostel booking links for downtown vancouver but they will come expensive but are okay for 3-4 days. www.hostelworld.com/s?q=Vancouver,%20British%20Columbia,%20Canada&country=Canada&city=Vancouver&type=city&id=65&from=2022-06-29&to=2022-06-30&guests=1&HostelNumber=&page=1 www.hostelz.com/hostels/Canada/British-Columbia/Vancouver
We will try to make new one in English. If you are asking near UCW downtown, then the areas are Joyce Collingwood, Brentwood, Fraser Street, Cambie Street etc. in South Vancouver
Sound not clear . Make it again . My son has enrolled in Vancouver community college. Suggest me cheapest accommodation near gurudwara like khasa diwan society etc. I want cheapest basement near gurudwara. Guide me
You should try to find accommodation near Edmonds in burnaby or Burnaby Metrotown.. you can even choose Coquitlam centre for cheap deals and good connectivity.
Hi, please suggest if it is worth staying inside the SFU burnaby campus housing paying 1940 CAD per month for a 2 bedroom apartment. As I am coming in Aug 2022 with my wife and son 11 year old.
I would suggest that if you like a peaceful and calm life then only plan to stay at SFU Campus. There are pros and cons both.. pros are being close to university and a peaceful environment but cons are for other things you would need to travel far. Also you can get other options to stay nearby SFU in areas like Brentwood, or East Hastings, city of LOUGHEED, coquitlam
@@HighOnLifeInCanada Thanks for your feedback. I was told staying within SFU is affordable compared to off-campus. We are talking about a couple or a family of 3. any thoughts on the cost comparison aspect?
@@jasmine20179 yes living on campus is convenient and can be great for families.. there are daycares and elementary school on campus too. The rents are cheaper on campus too.
Best areas for UBC students are East 41st Ave and between Granville Street and Victoria Drive.. also Marine Drive is good area or Fraser Drive… if you want to stay very very close then Dunbar or Kitsilano
