The germans and all soldiers of the war are brave and are humans that deserve equal respect, whilst you might have lost people during this war si have millions of germans,French,Americans,Japanese,Italian,africans from all over have too they don't hold a grudge so why do you. There are very little soldiers,pilots,leaders who wrre apart of the 2nd world war and soon interviews like this will be not be possible
Within 30 years I doubt there will be any survivors to tell stories or be interviewed abt there experiences in the actual battles and fights of the war, soon WW2 will be purely history
No more new stories will be confirmed by the actual brave people who gave up their life for their country WW2 will be something of the past soon no one in the world will be alive who actually participated in the war and it will become a thing if the last in everyone's minds. Brave soldiers on all sides like Heinz deserve the respect that you'd give to a soldier that fought for your country
