I've stood by the Kings guards many times and was able to take photos.

Can you imagine the furor, if some enterprising soul sold "Guard Kibble" to unsuspecting tourists as they stepped off the tour bus.

@@donnabaardsen5372 Yup. That's the number one complaint, foreign tourists disrespecting a member of the KG, in second place is them having a mental issue. The problem is that people who own KG channels post provocative titles that drive viewers to a negative assumption. The villain is most always a foreigner. There are dozens of these channels. It looks like a tour director tried to move her tour away from the guard, and one of her stray lambs stayed behind for a photo, and the guard told him to keep back. Did the tourist know they were doing anything wrong...probably not. I don't think they spoke english, and I didn't hear or see anything instructing them to stay back prior to her arrival. I know you consider many things disrespectful to the KG, that I do not, given the circumstances. This is probably a cultural difference. They put the guards out on display in their story book uniforms, in their story book guard house, and you expect foreign tourists not to treat them as a Disney character? Wanting to have their photo op with an icon. This entire video was a non-event, but the author yelled fire, so the troops rallied and attacked the foreigners.

@@paulsmith3487 God I hate it when I have to defend them. It's far more satisfying to swat them. There are the groupies who really believe the King's Guard, guards the King and his property. Technically that is their mandate. In reality, they further the "UK" brand. Which allows the UK, a tier-two plus military power, and tier-one economic power to act as a near super-power. The monarchy, the commonwealth, being best buds with US. It pays off. The KG promotes the image and brand. UK tourism adds 150 billion euros to the UK's GDP annually. That's almost triple the UK defence budget. The KG pays for itself.

They keep coming. You make it sound as if they are Russians. They don't all have cameras, but they could pickup the cameras from the dying bayonetted bodies. 😂

The thing is, the guard is allowing tourists to come stand right next to him. If the tourist decides to attack the soldier, he wouldn’t even have enough space or time to get the bayonet ready to use. Nobody should be allowed to get close to the guards.

I watched a group at the Grand Canyon direct their small children ever closer to the edge for photos. There are no guard rails, over you go! Horrified park rangers rescued those kids just before they plunged. The parents were incredulous at having their photo ruined.

Asians and some Jewish groups are the worst.

Don’t people have to pay to get into the upper parts of Windsor?
