These tourists are entitled to absolutely nothing. They should consider it a privilege to have their picture taken with the guard and horse. As such you would think at the very least they would have enough manners to wait until the two guards are done speaking with each other before bulldozing their way in for a photo op, and not moving when asked to.

They act as if the horse and guard are just statues. Unbelievable! 😡

Ban all access to the guards on duty. Simple, exclude the public.

I'm an American and watching these people disrespect the guards and the military horses made me mad. I guess you have to come from a military family to appreciate what these young men do for their country.

Great horsemanship - I tended horses for a while and I can tell you that once they are headed back to the stable it is almost impossible to get them to do what you want.

I don't know what has happened to the human race, we seem to have no grace, good manners, kindness, love or understanding etc in our hearts or our behaviour, the world is as beautiful as ever full of the colours of nature and it's beauty, it is not the world that is awful, it is society, genuine kind people seem to get walked on now, things are not getting any better, only worse.

Rude and self-entitled idiots are easily stopped. The only question is why do the authorities let it continue and get progressively worse? Block them off behind barriers, No Entry, and ban them outright from approaching the Guards at all. Tourists have proved many times they can't be trusted at Horse Guards.

Why would you allow a horse to go through the trauma of multiple people handling them in this way? It should be no touching at least! So unacceptable no wonder they act up. It is so clear by their reactions that they hate it!

It’s a fantastic job you guys do filming the guards and highlighting the stupidity of some tourists and should the police need to make an arrest you have the perfect evidence for a conviction. I just wish the tour guides would inform everyone in their groups, how privileged they are , yes Privileged to have the opportunity to get this close to serving soldiers and take pictures. They need to emphasise the importance of proper conduct around the guards and their horses for their safety and others. Them grabbing the reins of the horses is like grabbing the steering wheel of a car , stupid and reckless. So thank you and all of the other wonderful bloggers that cover the guards for those who can’t get to be there themselves and seeing how immaculate our troops look on duty.

I can't believe the number of people who want pictures with an animal on duty. This would not end well in the US. Our working animals are not allowed to be distracted by petting, talking, etc.
