I thought you were going to do a review where you were pushing them to their extremes?? that was CRAP! you drove them on a very tame gravel road and went through a shallow ford and mentioned a few things that can be found on any webpage. Actually the stuff you showed can be found in the suburbs. Can't believe I just sat through that pointless bable.
@@nickbianchi shure you can! there are other Videos out there and even i brought my outback to much harder Terrain in the backroads and forrests arround my little village.....
Agreed. Claim was that the review was going to really push the extremes. The video review was NOT a review or test in anything. It was a normal review and they happened to be on dirt roads. Zero test of backroad capability
Haldex is permanent AWD and is essentially the same system Subaru uses with slight modification. Haldex is used by some premium brands like Audi,Volkswagen,Volvo.

"In this test, we wanna push them to the extreme".... ROFL, that wasnt extreme even for Alltrack.... There is a guy in Slovakia who is testing the cars on really hard stuff... And they dont need it in their country at all because of nice roads.
In previous generations was three of plugs. One in the front, second in box between front seats and third (optional) in trunk... I think that in this generation ist same but he didnt mentioned.
I like the Subaru a lot... but here in Switzerland (or Europe in general), it’s the Octavia Scout that’s the best bang for the buck. If it wasn’t for the CVT, I’d still tend towards the Subaru I suppose.
I was in Switzerland many time... Last time this summer as a part of roadtrip thru Alps with my Outback. I was suprised how many of them are in villages around Zurich. BTW I don't like Škoda but I have to admit that it has value for the price.
I didnt mentioned CVT... I was pretty scared by it. After some time I'm glad that is one there. Its comfortable, Its helping with fuel comsuntion and it works offroad pretty well.
Estate vs SUV, and the one with the best tires won? What is next? The Humvee vs Fiat 500? The one with the cutest windows wins. Come on now, compare the Subaru with fx the Ford Explorer.
Passat Alltrack? here in United States Volkswagen gave us a Golf Alltrack 1.8 engine is a joke i didn't know it exist a Passat alltrack, if they can bring that Passat Alltrack to United States it will be better what engine do that Passat Alltrack have posible a V6 cylinder that make more sense
puh-lease... if you want to go off-road, go buy a real 4wd these cars are crossovers the subaru's cvt gearbox is horrible and try sitting in the 2nd row...horrible! passat alltrack hands down
