Subnautica | Killing a Sea Dragon Leviathan 

You remember the first time you get the prawn and the AI tells you that experienced prawn pilots get that sense of limitless power. Yeah I think this is what they were talking about

The best part: you kill the sea dragon, and then a shrimp tries to kill you. This thing has no fear.

you may have killed the sea dragon but you still cant kill the mosquito in your room!

Compared to the other hostile leviathans in the game, I never really had any problem with the sea dragon. Reaper Leviathans can very much go f*** themselves with how hostile, relentless, and flat out scary they were. The Ghost Leviathans I actually found were kinda beautiful with their translucent rainbow coloring and I found their use to deter players from The Void as creative, though the fact they went agro on me just for being on screen made navigating the Lost River with my Cyclops a pain. But the Sea Dragon Leviathan? Aside from one time it tried eating my Prawn Suit, I never ran into any issues with it. It liked to swim high and I prefered to swim low to gather resources. We respected each other's space, and I honestly thought his design was kinda cool, so I just let them be. Seems almost like a loss if you kill them.

My fear of sea dragons has went from 10000% to 25%

It ignores you most of the time. You invaded its home then killed it. The scan says its an endangered creature close to extinction. There was only 1 monster in that video and it wasn't the sea dragon.

Knowing that Leviathans don't respawn after killing them.... Once I get that P.R.A.W.N suit I swear to god I will kill every last of them for making me so scared that I didn't even want to go to the areas where they spawned.

That sad roar it does when you hit it though- it makes me not want to kill it For some reason the sea dragon doesn't scare me. I'm more afraid of the Ghost Leviathans.

They probably didn't add hitboxes anywhere but the head because they didn't expect to be anyone so brave to actually kill these things. That's probably why it only works on the head on reapers and sea dragons. Today i killed a reaper with only 3 things and only the head had a hitbox but everyone knows that

Get a big speaker and when you're on the ocean full blast it playing the Sea Dragon's sound on repeat to scare nearby boaters and act as mind fucked as everyone else.

Are we not gonna talk about how this man has balls of steel for doing this.

I never knew that you could just easily kill Leviathans like this...now I'm no longer afraid of them.

I was literally on the verge of death so I just attempted to drill it and killed it. I then finally found my way, eating gel sacks while speeding out of the river into my cyclops to eat bulbo seeds.

And all this time, I don’t think he saw you! He didn’t even attempt to attack you as I saw!

Coming here to say It's still possible to grapple onto and punch the Sea Dragon to death! I did it not long ago (a few hours before making this comment) but got pulled out of the map right before killing it and I had to restart my game as to not get stuck or lose anything

this thing just murdered my lockers in my cyclops. Its over for all 3 sea dragons. They're going to be formally exticint

I killed a Sea Dragon today, got Subnautica two weeks ago, but it it took longer for the Monster in mine. And he swam through the rocks smashing my Prawn suit. Forgot to scan it so will have to kill another for it.

Just watched this to get motivation to go into the ILZ. Literally got attacked by a sea dragon seconds after unpausing, but I didnt lose my prawn

I attempted to kill the sea dragon with the upgraded knife it didin't work so im going to use my prawn suit and try the same way you killed him

i actually got kinda sad watching this, in a "my pokemon died in a nuzlock" kinda way. this creature really wasnt bothering anyone, you're the one who came into its home and ground it down to rubble. it was a beautiful creature, and in this video, we may very well be witnessing extinction.

Gaspods and a Stasis Rifle are the way to go for killing any large hostile animal especially when it comes to leviathans. This trick also works for the reaper leviathans as they cant hurt you either when you are attached to them.

I think maybe this would be easier with 2 torpedo arms, one loaded with vortex torpedoes and the other with gas torpedoes. The wiki says the gas torpedoes do percent damage instead of just flat damage, which makes them ideal for this
