First subscriber meetup! My name is Brian. I live on the road full time in my self built camper van. Join me on my adventures. In this video I leave my camp at Zzyzx Road

Then I head toward north Las Vegas on I-15 to meet subscriber Linda for breakfast. We had a great visit!! Thank you Linda! Then I head towards Alamo, NV on Highway 93 where I find a free camp at Pahranagat National Wildlife Refuge GPS: 37.298787, -115.120912 It was a very nice free campground. Living on the road has proven to be a very fulfilling lifestyle for me. Thank you for coming along!!

Brian, thanks for the awesome video. You are always such an inspiration. I tent camped once in S. Texas in August and it was horrible. I wet the hand towels and put them in the cooler and laid them on my bare skin under my T shirt. I woke up once during the night once the towel had warmed up and I just switched towels in the cooler and replaced the warm one with a cool one. It worked like a charm. The towel covered my torso so it kept me cool.

Maybe you already know this but when camping in a hot place like Nevada, you should get one of the large Cammo Netting like the military uses in the desert. They are relatively inexpensive and would cover your whole van and a place to sit and cook outside. Just a suggestion. Great channel by the way.

Nice start to your travels. Those were very thoughtful gifts, Linda is a generous spirit. I feel the same about Cali. I just love that state, it is so vast, soooo much to do. But the politics really ruins the whole experience. I feel such a deep sorrow for California. It's changed so much in my lifetime and since living, working and owning a business there.

Nice video,Brian. I use a small cooler filled with ice, specifically to throw in some washcloths and rotate them throughout the hottest part of the day. keep ya cool. Enjoy your new flute!

I love that place. (I can't pronounce it either) The first time I camped there I got the spot at the very end. Only one other person was there. The second time we ended up at that tent spot because the place was packed. Love the drone landing at the end. Safe travels my friend!

Hi Brian, I use Intellicast for my weather information. It shows an 80 degree day today, then drop to 75 Tuesday with Rain. There are Flash Floods in the area of Las Vegas when you get to the north of town out on the road again. Be careful - they sneak up on you. :-) Super aerials at the end!

I live in Escondido, Brian, and I hear ya about the "love/hate" relationship with this State. Wish I had the money to buy a "new" van and fix it all up and get on the road like you. I had gallbladder removal surgery on May 1, so this idea scares me.....being on the road and you need an E.R. NOW ! I went to Palomar Hospital (new hospital) via ambulance. Hugs to ya, Brian !

awesome view and video. nice bike would you ever consider putting a mountain bike motor on that bike. i believe it gets about 100 miles per gallon. you could definitely cruise with that bike.

That map is great I have one for my state. I also have 3 yes 3 auto gps a MIO a GARMIN and a TOM TOM. Why so many GPS? I bought 2 of them the other I found it IN THE TRASH !

The weather got really cold in San Diego and LA. Snow in the mountains. Lake Cuyamca probably got the biggest snowfall of the year. Pretty funny since it is May. It was low 40s in Temecula. I don't agree how they run the State either and there is nothing anyone can do about it. Due to economy of scale we should be paying less for everything not more.

toni doyle When I was moving to NW Florida, Mississippi shocked me! Hardwood forests, small towns, etc. I think many people think Mississippi is just cotton fields, I used to. Cheers!
