I found paradise!
My name is Brian. I live on the road full time in my self built camper van. Join me on my adventures.
n this video Ileav my camp in Quartzsite, Arizona. I head towards Laughlin, Nevada. After an overnight in a casino parking lot I find one of the most beautiful camps ever! The Lake Mead National Recreation Area has some great free camping options.

I really don't know why listening to your coffee brewing is so satisfying but it is. It's one of those sounds like bacon frying or the beautiful noise of water rolling over rocks in a remote mountain stream that just makes you say "Yeah, life is good". Love it. Safe Travels.

It is actually exciting moving on and setting up/tearing down camp. I was lucky enough to do just that from Nevada to florida over a 2 1/2 month period.

Don Laughlin paid for that bridge you drove over. Cost was 9 million dollars but that created the town of Laughlin. Took him 11 months to recoup that investment!!! The RV park across the street is 109 dollars per week with full hook ups up to the end of April. Then the cost doubles as folks run their AC 24 hours per day. You need AAA, Good Sam or the coupon from Motorhome magazine. Camp spot used to be trashed with camp fire rings, burned pallet nails and broken glass. No longer. It is patrolled around the clock and is no longer a party location. There are locals there but not rowdy types as they enforce underage drinking. Awesome spot!!

Brian, another great video. You hit some really neat spots, and the price is great...free! We don't know (nor appreciate) what we have until we either lose it or don't have access to it...like garbage bins, running water, solitude, and so on. Keep up the good work, and the positive attitude. When you're in range of a signal, you're happy, it allows you to upload videos, etc. And when you're out of range of a signal, you say, Great, I can use a few days unplugged so to speak. You're one happy guy! I like how you describe and explain things as you're going along the highways and back roads. I'm sure not alone when I say, you make me feel like I'm right there with you. If you have ever backpacked, you gotta have a mindset for setting up and breaking down camp. It's almost an OCD thing! Love it or hate it. Your van has become a backpack on wheels. Coolio! ✌

That’s where I stayed when I arrived in Laughlin The Riverside Casino They even have a bowling alley inside and a few other extra fun things to see.Ive been to Laughlin to many times,in my car and stayed a few nights at a time in the hotels but this was my first time in the van,loved exploring the area on the Bullhead City side,had never done that.I loved it here Brian.I stayed here a week before heading back home to Cali.There was only one other person here when I stayed on the waterWill definitely be back.See you on the road my friend 👍🏻🚌

The weird QTZ transfer station hours are partially because the same lady runs both QTZ and E'berg. She gets Thursday off. So, when QTZ is closed, she's either at E'berg or it's her day off. fun facts from The Fringe

Ooooo la la......purrrtteee place to r&r!😊 Interesting point made about the high casino meal prices. For years, it was said beverage & food was lower in price than anywhere else because they wanted people to linger and gamble. I guess those days are gone.
