Subtle changes for the Q50; Fog Bezel removal, Vinyl wrap, and more!

Took a break from the Prelude to make some subtle changes to the Q that will make me happy for the time being. If you wondered how to remove the fog light bezel from the trim that's gonna be covered!

Hey btw i have the same q50, is your q lowered at all? Or is it the front lip and side skirt that makes it look lower? Just curious because i dont plan on lowering my q50 anytime soon but i did order that same side skirt and debating on this front lip you have on or a different one. Please respond and let me know id really appreciate it man!

Right so my car is not lowered at all. It is the all-wheel-drive model and I think a little bit higher than a rear wheel drive is. The side skirts and front lip do not physically lower the body in any way shape or form. However, the reason it looks lower is because it eliminates that under curve that the front and sides naturally have on the car and makes flare out more from the door itself. I have videos on the diy prep and painting of those skirts if you go back in the video section far enough.

That was some great info on the front crome parts, I didnt know just those came off I was going to paint them today too so glad i saw this video haha. Now tomorrow im just going to take them off so I can do a nice job and not have to prep around the car so much!

How do you feel about the spoiler, compared to the more rounded one offered by South Bay autoworkz

Personally, I like this option more. The South Bay model in my opinion is a bit to high and forces you to either run an emblem or have a cavity where an emblem is supposed to be, not to mention it also costs more.

That’s an abs Krotov duckbill extension. If you google q50 Krotov it will come up. 3m tape is all it needs to be mounted and I have a video on the painting and installation of it.

What happened to installing a the wide body kit? Did you go a different route?

Still have it sitting on a shelve waiting… Can’t keep the car non operational long enough to get it installed correctly since I drive the car daily for work. Once I get either the prelude running or have a new daily it will get put on!
