I think "Retired Janitors..." may be my favorite episode of the entire series. Everyone in the cast brought their A-game, and there were some truly memorable lines/moments (Shiv on video: "At Waystar, we've ALWAYS cared about women." Karl: "If I may just interrupt for one second...")
Gerry: You Coward Prick Roman: That.. is an imaginary cat, now could you please fuck off? Greg: I love you, and Im glad that you're part of my life but I'm taking legal actions against you. Tom: You're gonna sue Greenpeace? I like your style Greg, who do you thing you are gonna go after that? Save that children?
Once again, I'm so happy Matthew MacFadyen won best supporting actor at the Emmys for this season. His performance in this show as Tom is a tour-de-force.
@@JimmyMacramwait till episode 9 then you’ll really understand why he won. If you like him as an actor I HIGHLY recommend you to watch “The Assistant” starring Julia Garner(Ruth from Ozark). Matthew has one scene and it will send shivers down your spine
15:10 A very apt analysis of the Roy kids. They have pieces of competence, but lack the full package to be evil like their father. 22:00 Tom is a heck of a lot smarter than he makes out to be, and while he doesnt act like it most of the time, he has read the room properly.
The shareholder meeting was so chaotic and great. Roman making sure Logan aligns with a fascist Neo-Nazi was one of those moments where we are painfully reminded that these are not good people. It was nice seeing Tom stick it to both Shiv and Kendall in this episode.
as a kendall fan I usually skip ep 6 or his parts in it my man was really excelling in the self sabotage art a lot of people think he's bipolar and was in the midst of a manic state( the last part is kinda obvious)
"You know what theyre doing up there? Theyre picking the next president." -Tom, without just straight insulting Kendall calls him pathetic in the best way. Like, 'take your pictures, numbskull. You're irrelevant.'
Great line. And “I’ve never seen Logan get fucked even once” was an eye opening line. It was right in front of us the whole time. But it took that line before I realized it’s true. The only safe play for anyone in that world is aligning with Logan. And Logan only.
honestly i don't know why people hate kendall for what he did during the shareholder's meeting. like from an irl perspective, taking the time to have a moment of silence for all the victims and actually speaking their names out loud is actually a nice thing to do. maybe it's partly because we know he's not totally sincere about it, but on a surface level he really did nothing wrong there.
I'm always surprised when Steven Root pops up in something I'm watching, while at the same being completely unsurprised when Steven Root pops up in something I'm watching. If you're watching anything, there's about an 80% chance Steven Root will appear at some point.
Lol from season 1 I've always wondered what y'all liked I'm Kendall. His red flags were early on. Shiv in my mind seems to b a alright pick outa bad options, tho from season 2 nobody wld come close to admitting it
Also the amount of sighs u make after each reaction is hilarious, I rmbr watching this as pure entertainment, u seem to b invested in it tho which is def a tough way to watch this moral lacking, headache inducing elite society show. But it's so ridiculous that it's funny (ig mostly Logan n Greg)
