Absolutely. There'a. a long list of shows I've watched that overstayed their welcome significantly, and they end up just forgettable. But there's a short list of shows that I hold near and dear where I was sad to see them go, but happy that the show runners had the good judgement to wrap it up once the story had been told (Breaking Bad, The Wire, and The Deuce come to mind).

In the 4x3 episode all the actors acted so realistically that I forgot it was a TV show. Above all, the actor who plays Roman (Kieran Culkin) in that episode was impeccable and so realistic in his emotions that it seemed he was living a real situation. Kudos to the writers and cast!

Logan will never truly side with him over Shiv. Tom likes the money, name, and status too much to ever divorce. It’s going to come down to what Shiv wants. She’s always held the power in their dynamic, and I don’t think that changed.

The main character you never see in Succession is the camera person. Just a fly on the wall the entire series. Zooming in and out, focusing on what we would, if we, the viewer were actually there in the room in any given scene of this show. Absolutely brilliant. I'm rooting for Romulus.

@@AdAstra78 No, in succession the camera moves in a certain style where it seems like a documentary, it interacts with characters who walk in like it didn't know they would come in beforehand, it zooms in and out randomly like the cameraman is getting bored or suddenly realizing something important is happening, the office also often does this style, most tv shows don't. It aims to make the show seem like we as the audience are peering in on something we shouldn't.

The camera is a character in and of itself. The actors often don't know when the camera will be focused on them so they're forced to act in every scene on every take. This is also why the pacing of the show and dialogue is so great because a lot of the scenes where they're just sitting around talking, are just one long take that's been chopped up.

just finished watching this masterpiece of a show. First heard about it 2 days before the finale aired, so luckily I got to watch the whole thing like a long movie, without years of waiting in between seasons or weeks between episodes. Damn that ending, insane how satisfying they managed to make the conclusion despite this story being filmed across 5 years. The last season was definitely the best one, great conclusion.

@@hamz_9x that's this Sunday episode, they are deliberately not showing anything from the series finale except maybe the Caroline scene, that might be from the finale, Roman and the riots is 9, night of the funeral. Mencken scenes were from episode 4 but they got cut, he will still be present at the funeral.

This show with just 4 seasons in it's bag is gonna end up in the list of all time greats . My heartfelt thanks to writers of this shows , everyone else involved are great but the writers are real heroes here .

It's already an all-time classic... Definitely one of the best TV shows that has ever made! On top of my list with The Sopranos and Peaky Blinders.

The last season man. What a Nostalgia this show has been. Tremendous writing. Can't wait for my man Connor Roy to become the president of USA before the show ends!
