Tom was always Greg to the people who Tom'd him. Greg was only Gregged because he showed up behind him as a Tom to be tom'd AKA Gregged. Then Greg made mini gregs. Gregglets. The cycle of abuse kept on going until they reached the top. Failed upwards. Now they get to Logan everyone.

A few scenes after this we learn Logan helps secure Tom every divorce lawyer in town. So while Logan didn't say much, his actions clearly show 100% support behind Tom at the expense of his daughter
Logan ensured tom’s marriage/divorce will not affect his professional career with him by saying “if we’re good, we’re good”. It was in fact an affirmative answer. That’s why Tom was so gladden to hear it.
Logan is most of the times mean to his kids, but he mostly nicer to their partners. He is also nice to Willa, Rava, Roman's two exes even Naomi. The only time he's ever mean to Tom was Boar on The Floor moment.
