Really enjoy Sudsy Soapery products. I currently have 5 of their soaps. Most often there is a companion balm and after shave. NO, I don't work for them.

I reckon this razor would be a great choice for someone with a beard, a slim head would make it easier to shave finicky places: a neckline or cheekline etc, it'll be more nimble and wouldn't obscure your vision so much. I like that Yaqi try new things, even thing's no one is asking for.

That razor looks pretty good to me.

Great shave Michael. I was super excited to see you would be using that head, especially after Kevy Shaves got one, but decided not to shave with it. Cannot wait for the chance to try one.

Nice soap and aftershave. I just don't need any more! Can only wonder if Yaqi will come out with a razor accepting Artist Club, GEM or Injector blades. Those thicker blades seem to work better for me.

I recently started using Sudsy Soapery Unscented Shave Soap and matching after shave balm. I really like the formula and more importantly, so does my skin. I’m a SE Injector shaver, but I might have to try the Yaqi 1/2 DE down the road. Thanks for a great wet shaving channel. 🏁🏁🏁

I think the main benefit of this razor is that if you want to snap a new DE blade in half, now you can use both halves instead of having essentially a broken DE blade. Sometimes you just want snap a blade in half and now this gives you a better excuse to do so.

Nice shave Michael💈 I suppose being the head is 1/2 lighter makes it more enjoyable to some folks, I see no advantage YMMV. Capt. Choice discontinued their "North" line of products and brought out "Nor'easter", 🤔 Why? They could have just added menthol to the "North" and called it "Way North", keeping the original as an option which is fantastic IMO. Oh well, I stocked up on the original "North", I'm good. Have you ever tried the RazoRock baby smooth razor? I have very sensitive skin and of all of my razors the baby smooth gives me the very best smooth close shave. I enjoy all of the info you share on your channel and I love the out tro music also.

There is one point of half de blades and that is when hairdressers uses half a de blade in a shavette to create sharp edges etc during a haircut only using half a blade per customer. The razor you showed serves no purpose - it will shave like a de just with more fiddly mounting of the blade, and the blade is hold less secure than in a de razor due to the holes not being used for their intended purpose.

Great shave Michael. I have RazoRock's Eco (pronounced eeko) half DE blade singe edge razor and it's awesome. Basically there's a lot of people out there that only use one side of a standard DE razor during a shave and they tend to waste a lot of blades while shaving. This type of razor eliminates that. The RR Eco seems to have a better support method, this one seems to be not well designed.... it's a half idea that produced a half blade razor. My five cents for people: use a normal DE razor....who on earth wants 1/2 blade.... if so : use a shavette--- gives a better shave

Michael, I think some manufacturers of shaving gear are taking advantage of this rabid wet-shaving craze. It seems that once a guy gets the bug, he wants to try everything he perceives as new or different, even a stupid design like this one. It's obvious that a half-blade will last half as long as a whole one, so what's the point?
