According to Cruella, probably yes. However, for our political masters there's no such thing. Whether they're fired or resign it's simply on to the next lucrative gig. Also, remember the last time she got sacked? She was back in the job six days later, because the PM who sacked her got sacked. There are no consequences for these people.

You're not wrong, about the worst they have to face is writng an apology and week or two on the back benches, even Truss who crashed economy and had a shorter shelf life than a lettuce is making an attempt to get her hands back on the levers of power.
