What about 4 powers of the true Sun Rune? Suikoden must continue making games because we have not seen the rest of the 27 true runes power and history!
unfortunately Konami is not in the process of making any new Suikoden games, Suikoden creator Yoshitaka Murayama was interviewed by the FB group Suikoden Revival Movement about the games and plans, and there are no plans and neither did he seem interested. But heres a question given and his answer: "Given the opportunity, would you be willing to help make a new Suikoden game?" "If the production environment allowed for it to be made right." and Knowing Konami's lack of enthusiams and will to listen to theire fans and dev teams I have no hope for any future game unfortunately, if only there was another publisher willing to buy the franchise to revive the games though :(

@@marckevin203 - i digress and, for the matter, i go a little further.. i also believe Tir accumulated other kinds of experience during (and later) Gate Wars (yes, also the overcoming of the deaths you mentioned, surely..) and became more knowledgeable; thus acquiring more knowledge about life itself and a better understanding about his own True Rune powers, from the rune that he bears.. this is what he represents in Suikoden II, a war veteran, that also happens to enjoy life and overcome sadness of death of loved ones etc..
I wish someone will continue the Suikoden series. I think Nintendo Switch is a good platform for future Suikoden games like Suikoden 1 & 2 remake / remaster or HD collection. We definitely need Suikoden 6 and 7 to feature other 27 True Runes such as Rune of Change by Sindar people, Circle Rune of Hikusaak, Eightfold Rune by Yuber. I am currently playing Suikoden 4 and so far so good for me. Hopefully Suikoden 5 will come to PSN store soon.
It'll be epic for switch owners if it's released there as a collection or even as separate titles for the right price. Knowing konami though.... It'll end up as some sort of pachinko thing.
Blue Moon Rune, Seirra's True Rune that she recovered from Neclord is cursed it took her 300 years just to tame it then she created her own little town with the Rune as the center peice which Neclord stole. The two halves of the Rune of Begining (Bright Shield and Black Sword) are cursed due to lore, the two halves are aways trying to see which is stronger. Soul Eater is cursed to eat those that the weilder is close to, only one soul has ever survived being nummed on. And all True Runes grant long life which is a form of a curse. But on the Punishment Rune, if you get all 108 stars it goes into the forgiveness state which prevents the rune from hurting its user, which is why Lazlo wasn't taking damage with the rune.

You forgot king barbossa true rune his sword in final boss suikoden I, and Ted "different" soul Eater from suikoden 4, Ernest "Half" beast Rune too, or neclord "Moon rune"

Earth has great defense capabilities with some damage, wind has strong single healing but some status effects and decent damage. lightning is strong the less mobs there are and is especially strong on single mob spells, water is mostly group healing with some status effects and minor damage while fire is primarily aoe damage.

Yeah then combine it with alert rune (ultimate in fourt turn) and also fury rune (berserk at start battle) give it to viktor and causing 4000dmg + on critical.
@@the13thjoker The best offensive attack rune combination in Suiko 2: Double Beat, Double Strike, Fury. Give this combination to Killey, Sheena, Chaco, Sid, and Hai Yo and you will get a 'Haki-based' party
Chris lightfellow is a great character and a well-written one and deserved to be the flame champion, but his magic stat would just make the destructible true fire rune a waste of material 😂
Their not True Runes, but they do reflect they Sun and Night Runes' powers in the game. So I'll take what I can get. Don't blame me, blame Konami for the lack of usable True Runes in the game.
Star, dawn and twilight isnt true runes, they are classified as child of true runes. Star Rune is child of Night Rune or known as Star Dragon Sword. Dawn and Twilight are Child of Sun Rune
Bright Shield and Black Sword Rune are not True Rune. They're both treated as components for the Rune of Beginning. Combining both will make it True Rune. They're are not child rune either, just components of what will make the Rune of Beginning. Leknaat's and Windy's Gate Rune are True Rune split in two.
@@sagawa1179 the story and game play of this game is subpar at best. Compared to 1, 2, and even 4 this game is bad. I played this game right after I played 2 and three away the game after I beat it. The only reason I made it to the end was I kept trying to give it a chance. Parties battles was a joke, world map was lazy, the story felt rushed, multi character made the story inconsistent, war gameplay was a stupid card game, barely any memorable characters. The only things this game has is a decent main antagonist, Hugo had lots of potential that was mostly unfulfilled, and the intro is a banger. Besides that Suikoden 3 was absolute shit. Suikoden 2 is my favorite game of all time Suikoden 3 is my most hated game of all time
I just hate slow thing in this game, other than that I like Suikoden 3, rune magic effect, favorite first Suikoden character is Sarah. Sarah is look so pale, mysterious girl at first meet, who warning us in Karaya clan.
