Yes and in the end Mihrimah became one of his favorites. She also outlived all of her siblings and was a very powerful lady (compared to others at the time).
@@annaariza1575 One of the reasons she was his favorite is because Suleiman actually had another daughter before Mihrimah named Raziye who he sadly lost at age 3 along with two of his other sons Mahmud and Murad to a smallpox outbreak. And while he still had other sons, he apparently really missed having a daughter and his mom missed having a granddaughter. So, when Mihrimah came along, they were thrilled.
All the women in the harem except valide and mahidevran were sad when mihrima was born, even her own mother didn't want her but it turns out that Suleiman was very happy when he saw his daughter Mustafa and mehmed were very happy to see their sister
My Mrs got me into watching this historical soap opera. I identify with Suleyman as a Dad,lol. We love our Little Daughters as much or more than our Sons ,lol. 😉
