From there, we visited the famous Panda Research Base, an absolute must-see. Despite the crowds during the holiday period, we were able to witness the pandas in action and explore the vast park. The affordable ticket price was an added bonus! Next, we headed to Chongqing, where we tried the traditional Hot Pot and admired the stunning city skyline at night. We also visited temples, explored the Silk Road area, and indulged in delicious meals with Lin’s family.
But our adventure didn’t end there. We hopped on a plane to Shanghai, where we experienced the high-speed Maglev train and explored the historical area of Juanpu. We rented bicycles and stumbled upon a beautiful temple, reminding us to be respectful of local customs and beliefs. The vibrant night market, delicious seafood, and breathtaking views of Shanghai from the top of a building were just a few of the highlights. Throughout the video, you’ll also catch glimpses of the local cuisine, from dim sum to Dan Dan Mian. The unique flavors and culinary experiences will surely make your mouth water. But it’s not just about the sights and tastes; we also wanted to showcase the warmth and hospitality of Lin’s family. Through meeting new people and experiencing different traditions, we were able to truly immerse ourselves in Chinese culture.
