I've seen a giant gameboy in a magazine 2 decades ago. But there's no way it could hold a candle to your project. However long it takes you, I'll still be looking forward to it.
Wow, so many things are going on in the background. I'm excited to see the giant gameboy and excited to feel the new mintyPi L & R buttons. This is the stuff that makes 2020 better.
Honestly I've just been binging your wonderful videos even though I have no idea how to do half the amazing work you do... after being inspired to make my own system shape i guess i better start learning! Thank you so much for being such a great inspiration!!
That giant game cartridge looks amazing, I can't wait to see the video on your giant Gameboy and all the other projects that this fantastic community is working on!
You sir are a madman making a Giant Gameboy and I love it. Also you look like you lost some weight you look good. Can't wait to get my hands on a Minty Pi soon
some great stuff, that large gameboy is crazy detailed I love it haha hope you'll have a tut set on how to turn the large gameboy into a large gameboy zero ?? haha
just finished my Espresso a few hours ago, it's pretty great. heftier than I was expecting. screen has some pretty iffy tearing but other than that, pretty impressed not bad for the £32 or whatever I paid for it, I only wish the ESP32 had the juice to run GBA
Would you consider testing the RetroPSU v3 at >3-4 amps and seeing how hot it runs and whether it needs active cooling? At 6 amps it could be used to power a DIY laptop (with a pretty decent SbC) on a 1S lipo - which would simplify the power management a ton for such projects!
I'd love to see more non-game projects, like the cat eyes in the pumpkin and the led lamp. I've been thinking about printing small toys to leave out for anyone brave enough to trick or treat this year. Any ideas on what to print would be great!
Cool projects, I built my first gbz from your guide, I have a vid on my channel of that. I have a toolcase build I still need to do a video of. I just want to build loads of different consoles now! It’s addictive 😆
i'm jumping in but wouldn't it be nicer to insert the original cartridge in a hidden place like the bottom side of the giant cartridge so that it doesn't stick out so much from the top ? There doesn't seem to be enough clearance though. I don't know, It just feels weird, as if it's a giant linker cart. X )
