🌷 Madeleine Lemon Recipe:
🌸 Ingredients:
To make 12 Madeleines
To coat the Madeleine Pan:
1 tbsp melted butter
1/2 tbsp flour
Madeleines:
1/4 cup all-purpose flour (155g)
8 tbsp butter, cut into pieces, melted, and cooled completely
2 eggs
1/4 cup sugar
Zest from one large lemon
1 tsp vanilla extract
Pinch of salt
1/2 tsp baking powder
🌸 Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Melt the butter, mix it with the flour, and brush the Madeleine pan. Refrigerate the pan.
2. Add the eggs, sugar, vanilla, and salt to a bowl. Whisk for 30 seconds or use a stand mixer for 30 seconds.
3. Sift the flour and fold it into the mixture. Add the lemon zest.
4. Add the melted butter (make sure it is completely cooled) and gently mix until everything is incorporated (do not overmix).
5. Pour the mixture into the cold pan and bake at 375°F (190°C) for 10-12 minutes.
