This video is, by far, the best video you guys have ever made. I just feel like watching it over and over again, because not only is it inspiring but it is also so beautifully made. The camera work, the colors, the soundtrack, all those elements create this set of sophisticated and useful pieces of advice that we can all benefit from. I loved it!
Aw thanks everybody for so many nice comments! I'm so glad you guys like this! Stay tuned for the next episode...(in 2 weeks) we'll be tackling brunch! And they'll be scones...HOMEMADE scones! Yum!
Beth, you are so likeable and your authenticity is refreshing. Thank you for this one. This is my fave of your videos because I have also been dreaming of moving into my first home. When I move into my own home, I shall host a summer party serving these same meals. I will return to this comment and update it. Watch this space!

I looovveeeee this longer format!!! It's really so much more helpful to see all of the techniques used to make each of these amazing recipes!! Now that I can see the full execution of the recipes, I am way more likely to actually try them out and recommend them to others... Also the personal stories make the recipes even more appealing!!! Keep up the awesome work and I hope to see more videos like this in the future
I love your story about how you turned your ugly yard into a beautiful garden! Things like that tend to strengthen the people who put forth the effort to work and create their dreams! What an awesome couple you guys are!
Ohhh... my goodness, my grandmother was northern italian, her family came from Lake Cuomo!!!, the most gorgeous place!!! and she prepared things like this......how wonderful!!!! A big hug and kiss from Santiago de Chile, and thank you for the memories!!!!!!! 👏❤️👍😘🌷

Love when you do these from top to bottom, I know it's a lot of work and I live alone but I enjoy watching and listening to you. I get a lot of pleasure and satisfaction out of these. Thank you.
Hi Beth. I just wanted to let you know that I made this menu (minus the radishes and butter) for a dinner party for my extended family last weekend and got RAVE reviews! Thank you for this amazing menu and tutorial. Everyone was so impressed! You're the best!
This is fantastic. Part of the difficulty is planning when to do everything and not letting the costs get in the way of getting people together to enjoy the season. You really hit the nail on the head with the style and attitude of the party. Very well edited and clear as well... can't wait to try these out and to watch more videos.
I love the longer videos, it really gives you a complete picture. Everything looks so delicious it makes me want to throw a party. In fact, right now I am rewatching this video so I can make the chicken dish for my own dinner party.
Hi Beth, I think your videos are great, they are very informative. It is wonderful to have all of the steps of your cooking fully explained, your tips etc. Thank you Beth. from Ann in South Australia.
Hi Beth, I just hosted a party at home last night and did the grilled salad and grilled chicken with cous cous from your video. The guests were amazed and my husband was wowed. Thank you for the great recipes!
I'm going to be making your burrata cheese grilled veggie salad for a brunch in a few weeks!!!! Looks so amazing. I'm sure others have told you, turn your lemon the other way when you are using the 'squeezer'. I did exactly what you did and was underwhelmed by the 'gadget'. Once I learned how to really use it I will never go without it!!! Love your channel!!!
Great voice and on-air presence. VERY HIGH production value to all your videos. I am thoroughly impressed with both the content and the quality of the edited and completed videos. You're talented and have talented people around you! Good job all!
Aw thanks :) No book yet, but definitely something I'd love to do one day! All the recipes are posted in the video descriptions. Nice and easy that way! :)
I keep coming back watching this garden salad over and over and finally will try making it this week!!!! Thanks for your creation ! Amazingly delightful!
This is the most detailed video ever. It didn't end with me still having a million questions at the end. Thank you, please pleeeease, keep these videos coming. Everything looked delicious.
I really love how you explain the recipes then give "day of the party" instructions. I always struggled with that last part, especially on Thanksgiving. I always felt like I was scrambling.
Thank you! So glad you are enjoying them :) And thanks for the sub to the new channel :) lots of great recipes coming down the pike there too! See you then!
Your videos are always so fun to watch, great music, great ambiance, it's warm and fuzzy because of the sense of family I get from it. Entertaining should be fun and you make it very fun and easy too! Thank you very much for sharing them with us!!
Awe, I love your story. My boyfriend and I end up taking about our future home and all I tell him is that I want a big yard for a garden. My parents were farmers in MX and I grow up with sheets having a garden in our home.
Beth, you just help me decide what I am going to serve to my husband's family. Thank you, Beth! I always have trouble pairing the main dish with all the sides and dessert...you have made my meal planning so easy.
Hello there, I just want to start by saying that I could listen to to teach all day. You have a very engaging style that feels inclusive and encouraging, that was refreshing to see. I have yet to try your recipes but I am eager entertain a small garden dinner party real soon. I live in Connecticut and my garden is beautiful this time of the year. Thank you so ver much for your warm, pleasant and most education post
Thanks for your nice comments. Confidence in the kitchen comes from keeping it simple and being organized! If you keep to that mantra, seriously you can make anything. So glad you enjoy the videos!
Yes a gardening tutorial would be great! A perfect thing for the spring. I'd love to show what to plant if you have room for a plot in your yard, or what you can do if you have a balcony and only have room for pots, or what you can even do in the way of fresh herbs on a kitchen window :) Stay tuned! Oh and heirloom tomatoes are great! Once you taste a homegrown tomato...you'll be hard pressed to buy one from the store again!
Made the chicken today, I made gnocci with tomato and courgette sauce to accompany it and the family loved it. Also tried the cocktail and loved that too. Really enjoy the recipes and serving ideas. More party meals please.
Hey Beth! We own a family restarunt and what we like to do is serve our bread with home made butter. We will actually use a potatoe scoop to put in a little aluminum cup, amd ots a nice presentation soth neatness, and the cilantro and parsely. Just a tip:)
Thanks for the preparation tips. I always start doing everything together without preparation the night before and I go crazy in the morning getting everything ready. Love the video and recipes!
Oh yes. If you are looking for a vegetarian option, you could use the little cucumber cups and fill them with a mixture of fresh corn, diced cherry tomatoes (they are the sweetest) chopped basil, mix that up with a drizzle of olive oil, salt and pepper and then spoon into the cups. Another refreshing appetizer idea for summer entertaining! Enjoy! :)
So glad you enjoyed it! You can also find me on my own channel as well."Entertaining with Beth" The subscribe link up is the description. Hope to see you there! :) Beth

Beth - YOU ROCK!!! I LOVE these videos!! I am very new to YT and now I'm hooked. I'm learning sooooo much and you have such a great and warm personality so its a pleasure to learn! Thanks again.
Tried the chicken & salad tonight. Didn’t particularly care for the chicken because I don’t really like chicken lol- but my husband Ioved it!! The salad was fantastic!!! Instead of making the vinaigrette - I thinned out some pesto with olive oil and added salt & p. Topped the whole thing with fresh basil. Thank you so much / This certainly won’t be the last time I make this

Hey Beth! I absolutely love your channel! They are informative and very helpful especially for a person like me who does not have a lot of time in the kitchen!
Beth, you are way more “ TALENTED, CLASSY, CREATIVE” person as a cook, entertainer than any body I watched on a Cooking Channel!!!!!! You should have been on Regular TV SHOW AND INSPIRE a lot of ladies. Way better than BAREFOOT CONTESSA 👍👍👍👍👍! No one gives practical tips like you do for entertaining 🙏
Hello Beth ! I can’t tell you how much I love your videos, you are such a lovely person!!Thank you so much for this menu. The Israeli couscous(we call it Berkoukes here in Algeria)is a new and interesting variation,I will definitely give it a try.And the fig and almond tart looks so yummy!!! Again thank you.Much love from Algeria!
loved the recipes and will give it a try. your detailed way of showing how to do it with the great tips make it look easy.. thank you. Just a note: Israeli Couscous is called Maftool and is used all over the Middle East. There is nothing "Israeli" about it! thank you again.
This is not maftoul. Maftoul is made like the rest of couscous - cracked wheat is rolled into balls and covered in a layer of extra wheat - just bigger. Israeli couscous is made by turning wheat flour into paste and then extruding it using factory equipment. Basically, it is pasta in spherical shape. As for the history of how it was created. When the Arab states expelled the Jewish communities that lived throughout the Middle East predating Arabs and Islam, Israel had to feed all of those Jewish refugees, but it didn't have enough rice (like many of them were used to having). And so, Ben Gurion asked the head of Osem (still the largest wheat product factory in Israel) to create a substitute. And so, this was made - if anything - on the basis of Eastern European Jewish cuisine that relied on pasta products. Originally, it was jokingly called "Ben-Gurion's rice."
Thanks so much for your nice comments. The smoked salmon is actually not cooked but cured via a salt process. This in a sense "cooks" the salmon. If you've never had it, I encourage you to try it, it's quite delicious! :)
