I'm not a female, but I have to say. It's pretty refreshing to see someone offering constructive firearms advice, especially to women, that isnt some ex special forces navy seal super tactical guy. I can teach someone how to shoot all day long. But when it comes to carrying, there are differences in the female wardrobe that I'm not accustomed with. So I can really appreciate the resources you're providing.

Could not agree with mr.Browning more. I didn't think there many choices beyond a purse since so many holsters just don't work under women's clothing without making it obvious you're carrying. I know now what family can get me for Mothers Day, Birthday, Xmas, etc...I've been so ignorant to a lot of options and because of it, I haven't carried mine in awhile because I've had a custom holster made that's outside the body so you see it and it runs bulky, definitely don't carry in the summer because of summer gear- now, I'm gonna ride in style and be protected 😎 👌

I hope every lady that carries sees this video. This is what will save your life. My daughter carries 2 Glocks and you never see them. My neighbor lady carries every time she leaves the house and you never know she has one. Even My insurance lady carries and you don't know it. Please ladies protect yourself especially in these horrible times.

I truly try to get ladies and guy's to carry. Normally I CC, rare occasions I open. But I started teaching both my sons very young as I was out on the farm. I now teach each grandchild at the same age as I did my guys. If you see me I am always carrying. It's more important than ever today to be able to protect yourself and you are your own first line of defence. I have had a lot of cop friends and family in the police and DEA. Depending on where you live or what part of the county you live it's a minimum of 45 minutes for response for help and one of the main reasons I started teaching both young including helping each other. I started with just a BB and my old 410 because I knew it wasn't going to kick. We kept moving up to pistols, rifles and how to brace using a shotgun. The second reason it takes that Forbidden Taboo of don't touch away, the kids need to sneak around behind parents back to just touch which causes bad accidents. I'd love to see everyone legal carry. I'm fortunate to live in a state that is pro 2A with stand your ground and full castle doctrine law's. We've had Constitutional carry get up to vote a couple of times but we don't have enough Constitutional Sheriff's so the few we do have that try gets out run by the majority of sheriff's that just want the permit money. Strangely enough they fail to understand they would actually gain a lot more people apply for their permits that doesn't already have one. We'd still have to buy the permit to cross the multiple state lines going to, from work or visit family across the line. And I love my Glocks, my favorite.

Concealed carry are backed up by 9-12 months here in DE, so open carry I must. Black on black in the right area, and most people don't notice, especially bcuz I'm a short woman. Lol

@@lisaclark6977 - I too openly/conceal carry..but mostly concealed except when home or out in the yard.I'm a left hand draw so mostly wears a pancake with skin tight jeans as a inside the waist carry I'd fumble trying to lift my blouse or top trying to draw it.I know this will sound weird..but when I first start carrying,since I wear really short skirts in the summer months I carried a Ladysmith model 60 .38 in a inverted inside the thigh holster that was easy to draw but was too close to my kitty but moved up to a Beretta 92f and to my present day Glock 30s.So I agree with you 100% the importance of your comment.I too along with my husband taught our two children gun safety as they are doing with their children.Thank you so much for sharing your comment.God Bless be safe.

I’m quite impressed at how you presented this information. It’s exhausting to listen to men ramble on about how there’s only one safe way to carry (I.e. the way THEY carry) when they have no idea how carrying for women actually works. You did a fantastic job. I own both the belly band and the purse, and they’re both great as well. Thanks for your contribution to the world of women’s carry!

Being an instructor and having spent time behind a gun counter I'm always researching this topic so that I am better informed when I have a female customer (because I don't want to be THAT guy). I am always bouncing my research off my female friends, shooters and non-shooters, to get their thoughts. It's channels like this are a great resource for those of us who actually want to make good recommendations.

I like several of these and I also like my sticky for appendix carry, but you really do need to use a good belt. It's comfortable and doesn't let sweat get to your firearm. Just another option for both ladies and the guys. It's what you are comfortable with. But each of these in the video are good options. I can't use the bra one because I CC full size Glocks. So even the 45 is comfortable with the sticky.

There's no one way to carry. Even for men it depends, but for us it pretty much depends on whether you're a fan of belts or not. If you are, IWB for you. If not, you go pocket. I'd say an unfortunate thing about concealed carry for females is the necessity of multiple draw positions, making draws less consistent. There has to be a different kind of holster for different combinations of clothes. In addition, women don't typically wear belts a lot and have tiny pockets. Compare this to my typical man whose fashion choices usually permit either pocket or IWB carry. Another inconvenience is that some styles necessitate things like belly bands and thigh straps, which can slip ever so slightly, making the draw even less consistent. Because of all this, I really respect the women who carry, partially for taking agency in their own protection, but also because they do so despite being way more inconvenienced than men are. Doubly so for ladies who manage not to compromise their fashion because of it.

If she or any other woman is hesitant at all I'd just suggest letting her figure out what she likes on her own maybe with an offer of help if she starts having questions. For me it was about 2 years between my gun safety class and feeling comfortable carrying concealed after I got my license. Concealed carry felt like a really serious thing to me and I wanted to make sure I was doing it responsibly. Learning how to make sure I was being safe and practicing just out in the woods with my pistol followed by cleaning and learning how my gun works helped a lot. I originally thought the only time I would carry would be while backpacking but I've found that as my comfort level and confidence increase I want this tool with me as much as I can, because I'll never be able to predict when it could be needed.

The "bra" option seems to be the best option as it is concealed and not in a position that could easily be compromised, such as a purse. This young lady's body configuration allows for such an option. Many women are not built similarly and even a relatively small handgun carried in a bra holster would probably print pretty significantly. In conclusion though, this video would be very helpful to women trying to determine what concealed carry method works best for them. Well done.

I am really glad I came across this video, and also seeing someone who obviously puts so much time, thought and effort into carrying, practicing, etc. Every once in a while, you see someone who says or acts like they want to responsibly carry, but you can't tell or even imagine the last time they've gotten some practice or practical application, which in turn is a little scary. Great job! Undertech Undercover offers a life of amazing options too. They have a bike short with inner thigh holster that I use instead of the Cancan. I never fear it will slip down my leg. Also tank tops with holster under your arm. They are all surprisingly comfortable!

Cyclist so I love my fannypacks. I have one specifically for running that is perfect for my Shield or my XDS. Most of the time I'm carrying a P320. The less clothes you're wearing the harder that gets. Thank you for the video because I believe you're doing a great service to the ladies out there that want to be safe. 2A always. What kind of riding-road or mtb? I frequently ride my mountain bike on long, forested trails and think often about what I’d do if something other than a deer jumped out at me. I carry POM in my bum bag, and a knife

I got a couple pairs of skinny pants from 5.11 tactical and they have deep pockets all over. I just wish they would make them more high waisted. I don’t want my butt crack to show when I squat down.

If you don't use your pockets for carrying loose things (change, keys, etc.), you could open the bottom seam of the pocket where you store your magazine. You could leave the seam open, or it isn't difficult to add fabric to the end of the existing pocket and sew up the end, creating a longer, fully functional pocket.

@@laurayoder3553 yup, been doing that for years. My flashlights & knives rest in purpose cut slots in my jeans because they're always an inch or two longer than the pockets. Lol I wear the 5.11 women's "Stryke" cargo pants too, & honestly love having so many pockets. I find myself wearing those more often than jeans.

This was so well done. I love fanny packs and have many and even one made for running with a gun. For total concealment I have a small Glock 43, Diamondback DB9 gen 4, Taurus Spectrum 380, Taurus PT22. In Texas were it's hot and very humid I'm usually in t-shirt and shorts that's why the weight of the gun is so important for EDC. Even a loaded P365 to me is very close to being too big for jogging that it stops me from getting one.

My sister recommended your channel, and it is fantastic. As a male who wears flannels and pants with a belt most days, I obviously do not struggle with cc as much as most women. This is exceedingly helpful information, and I will be sharing this with the armed ladies I know. This video is also making me think of how I can get creative when I'm not wearing my usual wardrobe.

Very informative and tastefully done. Love all the options. See a few of my favorites on here 😉 My ultimate favorite is the waist holster (bellyband type) by Fancy Pants. I use a trigger guard in it and typically wear a camisole underneath for comfort. Thanks for another great video!

The trigger guard is a small Kydex one that I ordered from Fancy Pants. It snaps onto the gun and then is clipped onto a ring sewn into holster pocket. Firearm is drawn in usual manner and guard stays behind.

Came across your video by accident and I am quite happy I had. I found it to be very informative, straight forward, and your draw demonstrations showed how they all work. I'm so glad you try to minimize purse carry. I had that argument with my wife the other night when she told me girls "know how to hold onto their purses" during a purse snatching.

Thank you so much for the informative videos! I never thought I could carry on body without big dude pockets or a belt. I’ve always carried a gun in my purse, but these are great options. If you need an excuse to buy another gun, I’d love to see some revolver conceal videos! I have both a glock 19 and a colt king cobra, but I actually prefer the cobra. ☺️

Happy for you Lauren, practice dry firing, grip fundamentals, trigger etc. Get some range time. Try to find an outdoor range that will let you do some shooting drills. Hopefully you have someone you trust and is knowledgeable about firearms. Have fun. I say this in the hope that this firearm will not stay in the drawer home when you need it.

I love my hip holster but some outfits (bikers shorts, dresses, leggings) just dont work with it & having it in my bag isn't safe enough or close enough , I want it right on me at all times.
