Just your reminder that the whole Zushin duel in 5D's is one of the most entertaining duels in the entire franchise despite being against a stall deck.

Because they actually put in effort to summon a boss monster. Imagine an anime duel where the opponent only sit on fossil dyna and there can be only one for 30+ turns. I would lose my mind.

AND THEY DID NOT DUB IT…they literally decided to skip dubbing it. Hate how there was always a deadline where they would skip dubbing so we never got the final seasons of GX and 5Ds dubbed…I prefer sub now, but still.

@@Enderblade312 language dependant, in the english dub, these duels were a non dubbed break, but in for example german, they were dubbed.

Stuff like this is why i love Yu Gi Oh. If a card exists, someone, somewhere will find some type of use for it or a way to summon it. Love this game for that.

Thats why i love the channel of markmckz. He plays hearthstone and is all about creating OTK or ways to abuse cards. To the point some content creators, when reviewing the cards, actually Say "this card is for mark" or "i have no idea what to do with this, so lets wait for mark"

I stopped YuGiOh when 5Ds happened, so I had no idea that Gladiator Beasts had such a direct and hard counter. They were my favorite non anime archetype too.

I never understood yugioh players thinking a deck is going to have no counter. There almost never is a deck that doesn't have something that counters it and when it does happen it gets banned or powercrept.

G.B Hunter came out in 2009. I used it as a side deck card VS one dude at my locals that only played GB and he was also shocked to find out such a card existed and that I used it just for him lol. I found out about it while randomly searching my common bulk

I wanna make a retrain for Zushin to make it _a smidge_ easier to get out AND more potent for when it IS out: 9:26 Current effect: _Cannot be Normal Summoned/Set. Must be Special Summoned (from your hand) by Tributing a monster you control with 10 Zushin Counters. Once per turn: You can reveal this card in your hand, then target 1 Level 1 Normal Monster you control (keep this card revealed until the end of this turn); place 1 Zushin Counter on it. Unaffected by other cards' effects. If this card battles a monster, during damage calculation: ATK/DEF of this card become equal to the current ATK of the monster it is battling +1000, during that damage calculation only._ Proposed Retrain: _Zushin The Slumbering Giant_ (EARTH) Level 10 Warrior/Effect _Cannot be Normal Summoned/Set. Must be Special Summoned (from your hand) by Tributing a monster you control with 10 Zushin Counters during either players turn. Once per turn (Quick Effect): You can reveal this card in your hand, then target 1 Level/Rank/Link 1 Monster you control (keep this card revealed until the end of this turn); place 1 Zushin Counter on it. Neither player can target this card with card effects, also it is unaffected by other cards and their effects. If this card battles a monster, during damage calculation: ATK/DEF of this card become equal to the current total ATK/DEF of the monster it is battling +1000, during that damage calculation only. If this card you own is in your GY or banished (Quick Effect): You can tribute 3 Level/Rank/Link 1 monsters from your hand or field: Add this card to your hand._ ATK/0 DEF/0 THERE, I did the following… I: ⚪️Made the counter-adding effect and special summon possible during either players turn (The former being a quick effect)… ⚪️…THEN I made it so it can be ANY Level, Rank or Link 1 monster, normal or otherwise that you can plop the counters on… ⚪️…THEN while the card is out it has Venominaga level immunities to targeting, cards and effects… ⚪️…And THEN the battle related ATK/DEF boost now works off of that battling monster’s current _Total_ ATK/DEF (So before for example, if I fought a Blue-Eyes White Dragon with Zushin, it’s ATK/DEF would become 4000 over Blue’s 3000, for 1000 in battle damage… But NOW, Blue’s DEF of 2500 factors in, and I’m now at 6500 ATK/DEF, which would be a solid 3500 in battle damage if it connects without interruption.

Venominaga level of invincibility was always unnecessary, getting immune to targeting and being unaffected are just too extra too matter, also i prefer to delete Zushin counter and instead "once per turn, you can reveal this from your hand (quick effect) until the end of this turn if you control level/rank/link 1 monster on your side of field. if this effect is activated 10 times this duel, you can special summon Zushin the Slumbering Giant from your hand." The summoning condition still slow but when fulfilled you keep special summoning Zushin for the rest of the duel, if lucky you can special summon 3 of them in one turn when conditions are fulfilled for OTK

My last time play is GB back then. And when come to yugioh again in MD, yep I main GB again. But going first was almost near impossible, and goind 2nd is not so an option due to how much one can sp summon in the first turn and moreover average atk/def that has been summoned on the 1st turn is practically kill any GB. Then shuraig come, I play gladi-tri birig I can play for 1st turn for awhile. Nowadays even in gold you almost can't play it anymore

Use book of moon or book of eclipse on your opponent's turn to keep zushin on the field.

@@jenspohlmann6179 It's not effect, is condition. the same how Kaiju can just get rid of Zushin because it's summoning condition and not an effect. Wild Monster appear "return to deck" is condition.

@@jenspohlmann6179The effect that returns it to the deck is part of the same effect that summons it. Those effects have to be fully resolved or not resolved at all. Part of the condition for summoning it is that it will be returned to the deck, so as it's all part of the same effect, by game mechanics it cannot be prevented by Zushin.

Wow Duel papa is a bully to his chat! Thank God we are safe on youtube because he doesnt reply, so I imagine hes mean only to twitch viewers, which is completely understandable!^^
