But isn't this more of a squat when the butt is exactly parallel to the floor? Especially with a sumo deadlift the butt should be between the knees and the head, no?

Bro you are bending knees too much and hips down before starting a lift. it looks like a modified squat rather than a deadlift.

Thank u....i learnt sumo deadlift exclusively from this video. Guys, once we master sumo deadlift, you will notice ur squat will go up drastically and u will be able to perform deep squat with more weight. Sumo Deadlift is an exaggeration of a squat. So, master sumo deadlift to master squats

This is really bad advice, your hips should not be seated, it's a very inefficient position to lift from, follow real powerlifters like 'Mat venna' and 'Jonnie Candito' for powerlifting advice, stop listening to this BS
