Happy b'day TJ. God bless you and your grandmama. My sweet grandma lived in Goldsboro, Nawt Carolina and l enjoyed her collards, potatoes, 'nana puddin', cornbread, canned pickles and soups, along with tata pie. When there was a get-together there was never a want for food...always a big spread of fried chicken, baked beans, potato salad, peach cobbler and watermelon....No violence, just good old fashioned laughter and sharing. How l miss Grandma and those good ole' church-goin' "colored folks" (what we were called many years ago). They shared what they had from each other's gardens. They sat on the porch and greeted EVERYBODY that walked by. Those were the days when younger people respected older people by referring to them as "Miss Helen" and "Mr. Jason"...."yessum" and "yessuh". Now we are suffering from COVID-19 and an unruly generation. Whatcha out now. The Lord don't like ugly.
Thank you Clarence! I will pass on your best wishes to T. J.! I appreciate your story of days past hete in Goldsboro. Everything you said rings true. Those days are long gone; so we have to Pray without ceasing and hope for a better future than the present that we are living in now! Blessings!😍
@@Peggieskitchen Wait a minute. Do you live in Goldsboro? That's where my parents and my brother just moved to...actually Fremont. But most of my cousins live in Goldsboro.

Thank you for all the GEMS you share with us Ms.Peggy your treasures are really really priceless, and I'm so grateful for them and you and yours, Thanking God in advance for your favor and continued abundant Blessings!! Love you!!
What a delicious meal Ms. Peggy, I’m wanting all that right now. I have to say that your chicken looks so amazing, my mouth is watering😋 You make your lasagna like I was taught the only difference is we put beaten egg, one for every 16oz of ricotta and parsley into the mix, the egg helps to firm the lasagna so that when it’s served it stays together nicely we also add parsley into the cheese other than that you do it the same way and it looks so yummy. I have to tell you I notice you use brown sugar in most of all your dishes, I’ve never tried that, we add sugar to our gravy “tomato sauce” to take the acidity out of the tomatoes and I like my gravy a bit sweet, I’m gonna try the brown sugar next time. I’m enjoying you and your videos very much and I’m thankful for you, you expire me to do more. Blessings and love♥️💫✨👼🏻✨💫♥️

Hi Ms. Peggy, I’m writing but I’m not finished watching however I wanted to suggest to you for next time you make lasagna to layer sauce, then noodles then cheese this way it’ll be easier to spread the ricotta. Spreading the cheese before the sauce is much easier, I’m Italian and I’ve been making it since I was a child and believe me, it’s much easier to spread the cheese mixture onto the noodles before the gravy “sauce” is added. I hope you’ll try that next time. Love u♥️💫✨👼🏻✨💫♥️
I love this woman. I don't know if I watch it for her cooking or her encouragement. Reminds me of my Mom. You are right, this is the day the Lord has made. Thanks for reminding us to keep praying.
Glad you had a nice bday celebration for TJ. I’m sure it was yummy. I put 1egg in my ricotta for one pan of Lasagna. I also add fresh chop parsley or we’ll drained frozen chopped spinach in my ricotta mixture with cheese. Just thought you might want to try it. It really makes it so good. You are a great cook❤️❤️❤️
