On hearing the name, Mark Finley, it reminded me of the time I was waiting in a dentist's office. I picked up a booklet containing words of encouragement, use of Scripture, etc which I found to be Biblically sound. Though the name vaguely tugged at my memory, I couldn't place it and kept on reading, making notes, here and there! And then I came upon a section on the Sabbath towards the end. I thought, "Aha! Adventism...that's how it creeps up upon the unsuspecting individual" 😂 And then the memory became clear; the name was in connection to SDA! I thought how the mind was subtly being channelled to Adventism by nuggets of God's Word - so when one gets to the Sabbath, how can one not agree with it? When the Word of God said, "Remember the Sabbath day...?" 👀 Context, my friend! "Context is King!" You know where that came from, Thunder! 😁

SDA Chruch does not believe worshiping God on Sunday is a sin. Christians are to worship God everyday of the week (worship is also pertaining to how you live and following the commandments of God). One can have morning worship everyday before he/she goes to work. SDA believe , as stated in the Bible, that the Sabbath is on the 7th day which falls on sunset Friday to sunset Saturday Ex 20:9-11, Gen 1:31-Gen 2:1-3. SDAs do prayer meeting in the middle of the week. SDAs worship God during prayer meeting. So it is not a sin to worship God on other days of the week. But if you state that the Sabbath can be on any day other than on the 7th day, then you are teaching error. The mark of the beast consist of a movement being enforced to get others to accept the 1st day of the week as the Sabbath Day. The 4th commandment has specific guidelines on what we should not do. Scripture states on what we should not do on the Sabbath, and there is Christ's example of what can be done on the Sabbath. Ex 16:21-30, Neh 13:15-19, Is 58:13, Jer 17:21-24, 27; Matt 12:1-8, 12:10-12, Matt 28:1, Mark 1:21, Mark 3:4, Mark 6:2, Mark 15:42, Luke 4:16, Luke 13:10 (it was a custom for Christ as well as other Jews specifically to have worship in the synagogue on the Sabbath). When the Sunday Law is enforced by Govt. as what SDAs believe to be found in Bible prophecy, it is enforcing individuals to follow Sunday as the Sabbath, and it is not the Sabbath. When this is enforced, Christians who know better will not choose to volunteer to support this false Sabbath. To do so would be against the commandments of God. God comes first. He chose a day for Sabbath worship. It is on the 7th day. Sabbath worship is specific and the 7th day was set aside for a memorial to God our creator. He did not rest on the 1st day of the week, or the 2nd, 3rd, and so on. The worship that SDAs are pertaining to when it comes to the Sunday worship is specifically expressing in word or deed that Sabbath is on the 1st day of the week. Hope this is clear. SDAs are not against people worshiping God on any other day of the week. Those who will get the mark of the beast are those who willfully reject the true Sabbath day, and accept the false one. The worship part is that individuals will give in to this over Bible truth and in doing so give Satan worship because there was a blatant rejection to God's word by accepting the 1st day as Sabbath. It is the anti Christ who will also be promoting this False Sabbath. To accept the False Sabbath is worship to Satan. The argument is about the Sabbath. When it becomes clear that Govts are stating that Sunday is the Sabbath and therefore specific worship should be done on this day is a sin. This will be a time that God's commandments will be rejected. To reject God's commandments is to accept the commandments of the world. The mark of the beast will not be given until the False Sabbath is enforced. That time is not now. Please whoever is reading this go do a thorough Bible study for yourself. The issue is not Sunday worship god requires us to worship everyday the issue is removing the solemnity holiness of the sabbath and changing it to Sunday god made Saturday holy not Sunday…again you are required to worship everyday but the only day that was set aside as holy is Saturday!
No day is "holy" or sanctified under the New Covenant. You Sabbatarians want to be under parts of the Old Covenant while trying to enjoy New Covenant benefits. It does not work that way. And, at no time do you hear me advocating for "holiness of Sunday" in this teaching or in any other teachings of mine. Sunday and Saturday are irrelevant in New Covenant faith and salvation. None of them are existentially holy and have any salvational importannce. If only you SDAs would stop listening to Ellen White propaganda and embrace what the Bible teaches.

The entire Old Covenant law consistent of 613 laws are no longer operative. Believers are not under them. I have several teachings I did on these issues, especially on the Covenants. Watch them in your spare time to understand what this means. And no, just because they are done away doesn't mean we are free to become psychopaths, the usual retort. The New Covenant has laws, standards, commands, rules, and principles Christians must live by. Many are similar and the same to the Old Covenant ones, but different administration. And many are also different. The Sabbath is one of the others that is different and doesn't matter.

In short, the fact that Jesus rose on Sunday (the first day) and NOT the Sabbath (the seventh day) shows that His followers are to rest on the Sabbath and work on Sunday. Paul the Apostle kept the Sabbath - Acts 17:2: “As was his custom, Paul went into the synagogue, and on three Sabbath days he reasoned with them from the Scriptures.” The apostle Paul is the single most important figure in bringing the gospel to the gentiles. He resisted the judaizers (Acts 15). Yet Paul observed the Sabbath day well after the Lord Jesus died and rose again. God will bless the gentiles who keep the Sabbath - Isaiah 56: 6, 7: “And foreigners who bind themselves to the Lord to minister to him, to love the name of the Lord, and to be his servants, all who keep the Sabbath without desecrating it and who hold fast to my covenant- these I will bring to my holy mountain and give them joy in my house of prayer. Their burnt offerings and sacrifices will be accepted on my altar; for my house will be called a house of prayer for all nations.” Isaiah 56 makes it clear that God desires ALL (Jew or Gentile) to enjoy the benefits of celebrating the Sabbath day contrary to the Council of Laodicea. The Sabbath will be observed in the Future - Isaiah 66: 23: “‘From one New Moon to another and from one Sabbath to another, all mankind will come and bow down before me,’ says the Lord.” There is ZERO Biblical support for Sunday observance. In other words, the Bible does not have a single Scripture promoting a change from the seventh-day of the week to the first-day of the week as the “Sabbath”. I don't advocate for keeping holy any day. But if you are convinced to keep a day holy, how you keep it would be based on personal preferences and much subjectivity.
We cannot keep any day holy, for all our Righteousness is as filthy rags, no day is holy, but Christ is Holy, the 7th day Sabbath is fulfilled in Christ, type met anti type; thus we live and move in Christ the holy one, the righteous one, who is LORD of the Sabbath. In Him we are considered Holy, and not a 24 hr period. Thus in Him we walk in His holiness each and every day, again as you are in relationship with Him, holiness becomes you.

Sir, thank you for this video- although I believe this is scratching the surface of why Sabbath cannot be the mark of the beast. Please I would love if you can talk about the 2 other obvious issues at play that disqualifies sabbath. 1. Mark of the beast is clearly a socio-economic system by the government (aka kingdom) that will not allow you to buy, sell, etc of you don’t submit to it.... and clearly the government is more about not allowing you to gather together or worship AT ALL - no matter the day or time. 2. The Bible says the only unforgivable sin is to blaspheme the Holy Spirit. I have read that the word blasphemers can also be translated as “abusers”... Since the Holy Spirit is our mark of salvation and evidence of our acceptance of Christ as our Lord and Savior, can it be that abusing our body as “the temple of the Holy Spirit” does make the mark a spiritual AND physical branding (it can be an invisible mark or tattoo as in technology- nano tech)??? 3. Also, the Bible says as in the days of Noah, so shall it be when the Son of Man returns. Wisdom will be revealed when knowledge is increased. Knowledge can be technology... where knowledge is the root of that word. Gene 🧬 splicing like the fallen angels had hybridized with the daughters of man. The Bible says the fallen angels had sinned against bird and bee... Some sort of technology to procreate human/fallen angel hybrid was a part of God sending the flood to start over. Could this socio economic system be something that blasphemes (abuses) your temple so the Holy Spirit cannot reside within you. Some sort of genetic modification and nano tech that cannot be removed seems like it fits the qualifications. Through out the old testament we see God's disapproval to idol worship.......hence the reason why Isreal was told to destroy them.We see in Daniel God standing up for the three hebrews who refuse to go contrary to God's law.We see also how God defended Daniel when he refuse to pray to the king..So the pattern shown here is GOD is will and ready to defend his law. The various scriptures used by them to "prove" Sabbath day worship, like Isaiah 66:23, which you explained, perfectly, had already been checked out, when during a neighbourhood Bible Study, the SDA couple started it by giving out Lessons, leaflets with prescribed questions and answers aimed at turning a baby Christian's mind to their way of thinking. The one on the Sabbath included that verse in Isaiah which I'd concluded to be all about worship, as you explained. It's crossed referenced with Zech. 14:16 which also speaks of worship. Furthermore, for me, the Old Testament has been fulfilled by Christ - and NOTHING in His Gospel alludes to any Sabbath claims of Adventism. How could His Day be Saturday when He was in the grave? But to SDA'S, Christ being in the grave is 'evidence' that He, even He, was 'resting' on the Sabbath. I call it laughable and grabbing at straws! Adventism also grab at Luke 4:16 and Acts 13:42-44, oblivious to context - their modus operandi, I call it. Your US$1,000.00 challenge made me lol, because I once thought of challenging SDA'S on fb, that if anyone could point to ONE Scripture where Christ gave the command to "Keep the sabbath day holy," as God commanded - and reminded Israel, numerous times in the OT - that I would send them $1000.00 in their currency - but I haven't gotten around to it yet! 😁 Before I got into the Word, I used to feel guilty about going to church on Sundays - for God indeed rested on the 7th day; (and SDA'S were always around to hammer it in 😁) but after delving in, understanding, and connecting the dots, all guiltiness and doubt vanished. This is besides your topic, but could you do a teaching on the name of GOD? There are all sorts of heresy concerning such, there are those who believe that "JESUS" derived from a greek god called " zeus", it's being said that "LORD" which is a title means, "baal". EJ is clearly deceived. The evidence mounts up against the spurious Sunday sacredness. If you forget what God has told you to remember then you have to acknowledge the problem is with you. The problem is that even when you are reminded to keep the Sabbath day holy you wilfully disregard the command. So there is nothing that can be done for you unless you repent. I hope you have not crossed the line. For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins, but a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries. It's obvious that you SDAs are good at attacking and condemning people. Can you now try to develop the skill to respond to the actual arguments, evidence, points, and substance of the presentation? Almost all of you SDAs and Sabbatarians are very lacking of the capability to do THAT.
I appreciate your attempt brother. I’m afraid there are a few holes in your reasoning. It’s a mistake to use Jewish customs or Jewish history to discredit the weekly Sabbath. They still keep a weekly Sabbath today. You are correct that Sunday worship is not the Mark of the best, however the official stance of the SDA view is the legislation of worship and technically not Sunday itself. I’m not sure where I stand in regards to EGW but revelation absolutely is pointing to a religious political power that involves worship.
Watch the previous 3 presentations I did on this issue. Those "holes" will certainly be proved to be nonexistent. The Jews keeping the Sabbath today still doesn't mean that it's mandatory nor salvation for Christians no more than their still circumcising means anything. I have specific teachings dealing with the Sabbath. Perhaps you can watch those and see what I presented on it. There are tons of them on my channel.
