I had a genuine mental buffer after the game for 10-15 minutes. Honestly horrific. I was calling for a goalkeeper change in the summer and a lot more were. It’s cost us a win in the hardest game of the season I think we’ll have. We played really well. I would’ve wanted Max O’Leary but we kept meslier. Hasn’t improved since 2021 and I think if anything he’s regressed. Livid.

Absolutely diabolical, we had three points in the bag, all the hard work from our players on the pitch coming back from 1nil down in the 9th to being 2-1 up with virtually seconds to go. And it was a well-earned three points that would have taken us top of the league Meslier shouldn't have any excuses for what happened. He is lucky for the international break because the pressure would have been really bad in our next match, it gives him time to watch that incident and see it feels on us fans.

The nature/timing of the goal was gutting. I can get my head round an individual error. But there is longstanding, widespread concern amongst Leeds fans etc about his ability to carry out the basics competently. Commanding his area, organising his defence, positioning, dealing with crosses, distribution. A below average keeper. How on earth was he awarded best Championship keeper last season? Arrgghh
