I had a recent comment on video asking why I visit Bellevue so often for my street photography. After I made my initial reply, I thought about it some more and realized I feel like there are many benefits to visiting the same location for street photography, and I thought I would share them here.
Stay tuned to the end of the video for photos from a(nother) street photography visit to downtown Bellevue. There’s even a light rail train ride in this one!

Really interesting video Michael, completely agree with you about returning to the same location, that’s how I know where I can find iguanas and alligators😂and it’s also why I accompany my wife to the shopping mall, not only do I know multiple bathroom locations and coffee shops, but also where I can wait for people to walk by and maybe they’ll do something that catches my eye. On a separate note, very nice and enjoyable images (but too many favorites to timestamp). Be well and stay safe.

sometimes it takes the repeated exposure to see what our busy minds just push to the back. We live next to a green belt that I have crawled over many times in the past 15 years. I still find brand new perspectives and a chance to clear my head.

Leiter photographed pretty much his whole life in a block radius, apart from a couple of trips abroad. I like to mix it up a bit but most of my images are on the same dozen or so streets or locations.

How many times did Monet return to his garden to paint the pond? Answer: something approimating 250 times. Point made. Bill
