Not sure why I've woken up on a random morning in 2024 with this playing a loop in my head after not hearing it since the 90s on on a sega mega cd demo... But here I am
Yup! It was part of a Psygnosis triple header disc given away with Mega Power magazine... and it was amazing. I think it might have been the very first ever CD music video given away ever
@@megatronsfury8048 I remember seeing the video for “Torniquet” by Headswim on a PlayStation demo disc, but the idea was of course already done before then with this classic!.
Saw them perform (well, mime) this on Top of the Pops in 1992/93. If I'm honest it's not the best song I've ever heard, but it stuck with me the first time I heard it and has remained stuck to this day. Nice to see the video for it after all these years. I loved chart music and TOTP in those days. By 1994-95 it had all gone Britpop/Chris Evans and that held zero interest for me. But from about 1991-1993 the charts were varied and chaotic and really interesting.
sunday, 1993- (pre-internet,pre-mobile phone,PRE ONE DIRECTION), me, a sony super woofer stereo double tape deck to play and record (yes, I taped music guilty your honour-whatcha gonna do?-go after those peeps in the city...) the latest songs which "david kid Jensen" hosted on the capital chart show!)- I loved radio then and now although I went to "one fm" late in 1993 but didn't approve of the then new controllers decision to axe all those d.j.s... some d.j.s were really good and wernt always restricted by their playlist/producer...- "s.w." was in the afternoon/morning/afternoon, "Bruno brookes" did something else ... I loved "lynn parsons" as well...
