Man. I loved this shrub until I realized it spreads and I’ve been battling it in my front garden bed for the last 2 years. Been in my yard as a specimen hedge for 6-7 years. Guess the conditions are too favorable 😂. Still an outstanding show in my yard.

I live in London, UK. I’m in the process of planting some structural plant in my garden, ever green. What would you recommend. I have one long bed in my back garden that I can see from my kitchen. Just wondering if "Sunshine" is like the other Lugustrum that I don't like personally. Inv😢asive. Stinky smell. I would look into this before planting one.

You may be talking about something different. This doesn’t have a smell. No flowers grow from this one. The show is all in their leaves.

I bought 2 sunshine ligustrum last year from Southern Living. They never turned that beautiful yellow color even though they get plenty of sun & growing larger. They are a dull pale green & very disappointing. Should I feed them with Holly Tone next Spring, or do you have another suggestion ?
