Yeah, I know, I'm sure it bothers me more than you though. lol Only so much a man can do when you live on a tight budget. Hopefully the GoPro Hero 9 I just ordered will help with this, and only a couple vids left to post that was filmed with my phone.
I barely notice it, and the wife seems to like the feature. I wasn't sure at first that I would like it, but so far it's not too bad for the price point.
Would you go for a aluminum roof or this one if you had to again? Never had a roof on my og maverick and got a pro xp considering one of these . I also have a sound bar I was wanting to put like yours but on the back of the cage, will this roof still work like that?
I would certainly go with aluminum had I been able to afford the extra cost, but the Poly roof is good quality, and budget friendly. This one doesn't leave you much room to attach a soundbar to the upper bar on a roll cage, and not sure if an aluminum would either, but a person could always get longer bolts, and add a spacer at the rear to allow that bit of extra room for soundbar clamps.
I believe what I did on my 900S, is I didn't have a rear windshield, so I mounted my soundbar to the lower crossbar on the rear of the roll cage. Currently, on my 1000XP, with the roof, front, and rear windshields installed, I don't have any room to mount my soundbar, and I currently just have it tucked in between my seats for now. I have been a little lazy lately, and haven't tried to modify anything to mount it. If I had an aluminum roof, I would prob just bolt it directly to the roof.
