I used Speedokotes clear back a couple years ago on flip cars and at least once on a customers car, that car came back a few months ago. The customer said the panel I sprayed had "changed colors in the middle". The base I blended in faded whereas the original paint stayed the same. Hopefully the manufacturer got their UV additives right because it was clear as day that clear didn't do it's job.

For the money we are top dog. Only thing better than ss1200 and smr42 I would say would be glasurit clear. Omni is extremely comparable to ss42 however it's 300-400 a gallon at your local paint store... Not 150$ 🤣
Only Speedokote kit i've seen cheaper is the "simple" 1170 kit w 3/4 gallon and activator at 64 bucks. 1150 is a better deal, though with the full gallon
I think every last one of my subscribers is extremely frustrated with how expensive products are, if it wasn't for speedokote and there lower prices, most would have to hang there hat on a hobby. This video was just to show some cheaper alternative for those of my fans struggling

If your looking at a full body paint job start saving up between 2000-3000$ just being honest no one is painting cars for less than 2000 right now not even macco
