Beautiful classic. Them old Caprices were a worthy rival to the LTD Crown Victorias back then. Hope it stays original and don't fall victim of people wanting to put giant rims or ugly paint on it.

This was a Pennsylvania car with the PA inspection stickers most of those caprice cars were assembled In Arlington Texas some would have a Texas decal on the back door windows just like the full sized Cadillac Fleetwood brougham
All facts i have a clean 88 Brougham black with the grey interior in this same condition just 109k original miles. You are absolutely correct mine had the Arlington,Tx sticker on the back drivers side window but i removed it for light tint for this Texas heat..

My dad traded in his Vega for a 1980 Caprice Classic 2-door. Very similar to this car, but with the gold-beige two tone. We were a big family and four of us would pile into the back seat on road trips. So lots of great family memories in ours. The car did not last very long for us, unfortunately. After 3-4 years it was in the garage and not running.
Yeah these were family cars, used and abused and not many were cared for except maybe by older owners. during the cash for clunkers program in 2009 a lot of these classic old school cars were sent off to the crusher unfortunately. Red and blue oxidize from the sun. Gray burns in the sun and also absorbs the same ultraviolet rays as a black interior so it’s as hot as a black interior inside. Tan interiors age best and are coolest in the sun.
You’re right, you never see a bad tan interior color. This car was obviously cared for and garaged kept. It’s still available for sale if you’re interested
I have this same car but not LS yes keep it OG. I put Corvette rally rims with letter tires on mine with a fresh new paint and all original 305 engine, ice cold a/c 🔥🔥
Nice…. Its missing the cornering lamps on the front fenders. I saw some slight surface rust on the left rear inside door jam & under the door forming….its overall clean. The passenger side seat has slider seat/ no power… but its a clean 1987. You may notice that the directionals are integrated into the sides of the headlight cluster and in the rear they’re in the taillight assembly which has a 3d affect and can be viewed from the side.
@@Shadetree_Mechanic it was the only V8 engine in Canadian Caprices, but that was only in 1987. After that, they went back to the Chevy 305 except in the wagons which got the Olds 307. It was an odd, one year thing. It’s in the 1987 brochure.
